I wasn't around the boards much yesterday, but I am here to report my progress.
The scale didn't budge, this time around. I am unsure as to if it is a stall, fluctuations or some other factor. I will be monitoring my weight, as well as measuring myself, for the next few days to see what happens. Also, I have reason to believe that I have another candida infection. :sadblinky So, I will be doing another candida cleanse starting Monday. So, back to whole foods I go!!! :joy

I got some vitamins and supplements today. I got Potassium because of leg cramps. It is only 3% of daily value. Does anyone know how many I should or can take each day?

Jenivieve, I, myself took up to 3, 90mg tablets of potassium per day when I had leg cramps. One at morning, one at noon and one at night. I had no ill effects, and my leg cramps went away within a couple days of this. I went down to one per day for a few days after that, then stopped taking them.
P.S. Just one more tip about your ticker. Since I was able to quote it, you didn't put it in your sig line. To put your Ticker in your sig line (so it will just show up each time you post), go to your Profile (top of page) and paste the code into the signature box, then go to the bottom of the page and enter it. I was reading online last night that it can take 14 1,000mg flaxseed oil pills to make up the value of 1 tsp. of flaxseed oil. Is this true? Do you take this supplement. SHould I realy take it if I don't have a problem with constipation? Thanks to having my gall bladdar removed 4 yrs. ago I pray for constipation. Anyway, I took just one pill yesterday and a few hours later I was running to the bathroom. Now, I don't know if it was the pill or something I ate. I guess I will find out when I take more and the same thing happens. I was just wondering. Does anyone recommend just the oil over taking the oil pills? Thanks for all the help. I tried atkins several times before and hardly made it through induction. Now that I found this board, it helps so much to have support!

Hi again :wave Don't worry about questions, not a problem. Recently, I have been considering buying CLA pills. I hear this supplement is very good at helping get rid of fat. Maybe you should consider this instead. About your question about the flaxseed pills vs. flaxseed oil, yes, I have heard that you would need to take A LOT of pills to make a difference. If I were you, I would take the CLA.

Hello everyone. Just started Atkins yesterday. I'm here looking for support and advice from anyone willing to help. I'm 5'6 and my cw is 168. My mini-goal is 155 by Valentine's Day and my goal weight is 145 by the end of May. Any and all advice is welcome and appreciated.

I ordered some CLA pills today. I did a lot of reading on them and they sound pretty good. I am going to make a dr. appt. soon and get some tests done. I want to check my cholesteral and all that good stuff. Any suggestions on what all tests I should have done while I am there?

Cool! You will have to let me know if you feel they are helping. When the doctor's office calls you with results make sure you get your triglycerides, LDL and HDL cholesterol numbers, as well as total cholesterol. Make sure you tell them you are on Atkins, because if they test for ketones, they might think you are diabetic!
