    Can not wait for breakfast.

This sounds great. I'm a big fan of real eggnog but try not to drink it for all the calories.

I was wondering if any one had tried the Da Vinci Sugar Free syrup that comes in eggnog flavor and what the different is other that it is sweetened? I was just about to order this when I read this thread about Capella Flavor Drops. I didn't see a cherry flavor in the Capella Flavor Drops and I use the Da Vinci Sugar Free syrup cherry in my sodas and I am out.

Oh wow!! This sounds awesome!! I love eggnog!

I remembered something that my mom had told me about eggs and salmonella...she is a master food preserver and so I looked up what she had told me....Basically, Vinegar can kill salmonella! So I found some info on the net here:
Super Disinfectant Spray Using Peroxide & Vinegar - Share The Wealth
      and here:
Wine Vinegar | Food & Wine
      and here:
Heloise Hears A Hint, Household Maven Carries On Mother's Tradition - CBS News
      and here:
Special Diets: Eating raw meat, eating raw meat, raw diet
      and here:
EARTH'S ORGANIC NEWS: Kill E Coli Samonella Naturally

Anyhow, enough of that info...rofl.....................I will definately be trying this one in the morning...My mom has been having raw eggs in her protein shakes for a long time...I never believed her that they were good. hehe Yes, I do get that Rocky Balboa song playing in my head at just the thought of it!

I'm definitely going to try this.

Also those of you using the cartoned egg, I wonder if coconut oil would be a good fat replacer? I'm going to try that.

This is VERY good. I used to think ewwww that just sounds nasty because of the eggs but everyone is so used to buying it from the store that they don't usually realize that it has eggs in it, raw at that. The first time I tried this I was very happy because i thought it was just going to be horrid. I still drink this even now. I am not currently doing ATKINS but will be restarting on the 1st and I will be using this as my breakfast drink with sausage or bacon and a veggie. mmmmmm

Oh and of course LOTS and LOTS of water

I tried this yesterday and was astonished at how much it tasted like eggnog!! I added a dash of nutmeg to it and it was perfect! The only thing for me was that maybe I shouldn't have added the ice because it was a little thin for me...or maybe half the ice that I put in...? Anyway...it was awesome!

Thanks to someone "bumping" this thread on Friday, I discovered a fine treat! This concoction almost tastes like vanilla ice cream if enough ice is mixed in to make it slushy. I think it may have to be a once-a-week treat for me though -- otherwise I could easily go through a dozen eggs a day by sucking these things down like cocktails.

I don't think I've ever (consciously) eaten egg beaters. It's large, grade A eggs for me.

Yes, Egg Beaters kind of defeats the purpose of the perfect fat/protein/carb ratios found in eggs. I have 2 raw, organic, cage free eggs (rinsed under cold water before cracking) every morning.

I think I will just not have to think about it and throw it all in the blender as if it is just ice cubes I'm putting in... I'm sure it is delicious and I love eggs just the thought of the slimy feeling I'm not sure about! I'll post when I try it.

I thought the same thing, but blending with cream and ice takes out all "sliminess." I do find that I can't mix up a batch and then walk away and consume it 45 minutes later -- the consistency breaks down. But if you blend and drink, it's a true eggnog consistency and yummy.

                            Finally, reporting back.

I have NEVER had EGGNOG!!! So no idea of what that taste like, but this is OMG AMAZING!!!

I mixed as the basic, 3 eggs just Grade A, a little heavy cream, 2 packets of splenda, a little vanilla (maybe a little more then was needed, but it made it like vanilla icecream) and ice cubes.

I love my eggs. I usually have no problem eating them daily, but I miss my ice cream and milkshakes so much.. so this is definitely my dessert!!! And since I usually don't use heavy cream or splenda in anything else... I can have it daily if I want.

                            SO IN LOVE!!!
