    Today, I am making sure that I get enough fiber and plenty of water! So I started the day with my old standby Muffin in a minute! Hopefully it will do the trick.

    Breakfast
    Atkins shake
    Muffin in a minute
    1 oz cream cheese
    4 oz of cottage cheese
    1/2 cup of strawberries

    529 calories, 27 carbs minus 16 fiber (11 net), 40 grams protein, 32 grams fat

    Lunch
    4.25 oz t-bone steak (leftovers)
    1 low carb hamburger bun
    1 tbsp mayo
    1 outer leaf romaine lettuce
    1 roma tomato
    2 cups of cauliflower
    1 pat butter

    663 calories, 39 carbs minus 14 fiber (25 net), 40 grams protein, 42 grams fat

        I hope you're taking new members because I seriously need your help. I'm a slow loser. I've get frustrated, and then my eating goes all over the place and I need to get it under control. I've tried to read most of the post as you've been progressing and have learned a lot.

        Kudo's to whoever....Disco, if I'm right?.... for starting this... great idea.

        The problem I feel with Dr. A's book is that he didn't elaborate enough on the rungs. I wanted a little more info there, and I'm not finding it. But, this thread has been very informative with lots of info.

        I'm trying to cut back and see if that works for me...

        today I had for B: 1 cup cauliflower, 2 sausage patties.
        Lunch: 1 cup broccoli, 1/2 cup baked chicken with 1 teaspoon mayo, 1 hard boiled egg.
        Supper: planning on mixed salad with spinich .. 2 cups total, 1/4.. few slices cucumbers, few slices radishes, 1 tablespoon blue cheese dressing, 1/2 cup chicken mixed in, 1 ounce cheese, 1 hard boiled egg.

        What'd think? too much? not enough?

          LOL, sorry.

          So, it would help if you knew your calories and percentages. Do you use fitday? if so plug it in and let us have a gander. Yup, there's no limit on who can join us. We are just those practiced folks who needed to take a step back and re-evaluate things.

          I too, am a slow loser. I am lucky to lose 1-2 lbs a month. which is 1.) fine with me, as longas I still lose and 2.) expected because I am so close to goal, as are you.

          This isn't a race, your body is going to lose at it own pace, but it's good to take a step back and make sure you are still on track.

                1/2 apple
                1/2 oz of cream cheese

                105 calories, 16 carbs minus 3 fiber (13 net), 1 gram of protein, and 5 grams fat

                Dinner tonight
                Tomato Basil Chicken
                7 oz chicken breast
                Sauce: 2 oz of cream, 1 oz of white wine, 5 fresh basil leaves, 100 grams canned tomatoes
                170 grams of frozen broccoli spears

                Evening snack
                1 whole grain Wasa crispbread

                Totals for the day
                1982 calories, 109 carbs minus 41 fiber (68 net) 20%, 150 grams of protein 30%, and 110 grams of fat 50%

                I think I got enough fiber in today! Sure hope it does the trick!

                  Breakfast...MUP made with 1 cup pumpkin, 2 pkts stevia, 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice, 1 oz cream cheese, 1 oz unsweetened coconut.

                  Lunch 2 oz sugar snap peas, 2 hard boiled eggs, 1.5 cup coleslaw made with 1 tbsp. mayo.

                    Sweet--I tried your pumpkin with coconut flour and it was AWESOME! I didn't even need any cheese with it!

                    B: 3/4 cup pumpkin with 1 tbsp coconut flour, 1 oz. pecans

                      Hello, Everyone

                      Had to work today at the boutique, then went out to eat at a local restaraunt that has an awesome low-carb Hamburger Plate Special. So, I'm just getting to a computer tonight for the first time since yesterday.

                      Calories are a little low today, but that's not unusual on the days that I work.


                      Breakfast - Atkins Chocolate Royale Shake

                      Lunch - 1 cup jicama with an ounce of cheddar cheese

                      Snack - 1 serving of sugar snap peas

                      Early Dinner - Hamburger Patty topped with swiss cheese and mushrooms, 1 cup of broccoli, and 1 cup of cauliflower

                      Snack - MUP with almonds

                      Fitday Totals:
                      1334 calories
                      34 net carbs, 24 of those veggie (64g carbs - 30g fiber = 34 net carbs)
                      61% Fat
                      11% Carbs
                      28% Protein

                      Tommorow is another work day at the boutique, so I won't be here until tommorow night. See 'ya!

                            1407 calories. My BMR is 1455.

                            65.. fat
                            05...carbs
                            29...protein

                            30 carbs with 12 fiber....only 18 carb net. Should I be eating more/less?

                                Dinner was roasted chicken breast meat, no skin, coleslaw mixed with brocolli slaw, made with mayo and vinegar, sweetener, mustard...1 slice tomatoe, 10 sugar snap peas.

                                I'm too lazy to put it in fitday for today, but tomorrow I will record in there what I eat and post.
