        This morning I had
        Atkins shake
        1/2 cup of whole grain oats
        2 eggs
        2 slices of bacon

        534 calories, 35 carbs minus 8 fiber (27 net), 28 grams of fat, and 39 grams of protein

        Lunch
        1/4 rotisserie chicken
        1 cup of broccoli
        1/2 large apple
        1/2 oz cream cheese

        500 calories, 24 carbs minus 5 fiber (19 net), 26 grams of fat, and 48 grams of protein

        Now if I could just get to going again!!! More fiber yesterday and still nothing. I know, TMI!

        Also, does anybody know anything about Dreamfields pasta. I got some spaghetti noodles and the box says 5 "digestible" carbs. What exactly does that mean and what do I count? The box says 42 grams of carbs per 2 oz serving and 5 grams of fiber. To me that counts as 37???

          Today has been one h*ll of a long day. I'm so glad that it's almost over.

          Don, I don't have an answer about the pasta. It sounds like 37 to me, as well. Hopefully someone will come by and shed some light on this. I am very curious as to how they come up with only 5 digestible carbs. I am also very sorry to hear about your *potty* problem. I wonder why this has happened? Have you had problems before? Have you tried a stool softener? I sure hope everything comes out all right.

          Breakfast - Atkins Chocolate Royale Shake

          Lunch - cup of jicama

          Snack - 1 serving of sugar snap peas

          Early Dinner - Chicken Shwarma Salad from local Greek restaurant (romaine lettuce, roasted chicken, olive oil, feta cheese)

          Snack - MUP with almonds

          Fitday Totals:
          1488 calories
          31 net carbs, 21 of those veggie (60g carbs - 29g fiber = 31 net carbs)
          65% Fat
          9% Carbs
          26% Protein

          Tommorow is my weigh day. I don't know what to expect, as TOM started again today even though I am on Day 15 of the last TOM who never fully left. WTF? Stays away 2 months, then comes and won't go away. Getting older is h*ll...

                Rough night tonight. I guess I miscounted today.

                Dinner
                1 1/2 low carb hamburger buns
                8 oz ground chuck
                1 tbsp mayo
                2 slices of onions
                1 roma tomato

                Total for the day
                2067 calories, 112 carbs minus 26 fiber (a whopping 86 net carbs) 26%, OOPS!!!

                    Don--the pasta has some sort of special coating on it that prevents all of the carbs from being digested or used in your system. Instead of 37g, your body only uses/absorbs 5g of the carbs. But, there is one caveat that goes along with it: DO NOT OVERCOOK THE PASTA. If you overcook it, the coating dissolves, making the pasta virtually like any other pasta, and your body will digest all 37g carbs. So, follow the cooking instructions, and make sure you don't end up with soggy noodles. Al dente is the way to go.

                      I hear ya on this sista! I don't know what the heck is going on either. Is it our ages or this low carb lifestyle or a combination of both but I too have had similar issues. Inconsistency and just things being totally out of whack. I'm used to consistency and then BOOM...one surprise after another. I hate it and would just as soon take the giant leap into menopause already...I'm SO READY! TOM is still here for me, so no weighing til he is GONE!

                      Just wanted you to know I know EXACTLY what you are going through. Getting old is h*ll but the alternative is worse...hehehe

                      Might as well post breakfast in here today. I am starving this morning for some reason.

                      1 hard boiled egg, 3 strips extra crispy bacon, MUP 1/2 serving....so 1/2 cup of pumpkin, 1 oz unsweetened finely shredded coconut, 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice, 1 tbsp. cream cheese, 16 oz bottle water, 12 oz cup decaf black.

                          Thanks Julie! I was afraid to try it until I found that answer. I like my pasta al dente anyways, so I don't think it will get overcooked. So, do I only count the 5g's on the carbs? If so, that would be great!

                          1/2 cup Fiber One cereal
                          1/2 cup Cherrios
                          1/2 cup soy milk

                          474 calories, 25g fat, 52g carbs minus 19g fiber, 27g protein

                          Lunch
                          Chicken salad w/ 5 oz chicken breast, 1 tbsp mayo, 8 grapes, 1 small celery stalk, and 1/4 cup on onions

                          441 calories, 22g fat, 12g carbs minus 1g fiber, 46g protein

                          Tonight for dinner
                          Chicken breast with Dijon sauce: 7 oz chicken breast, 2 oz cream, 1 tbsp dijon mustard
                          1 cup Asparagus

                          Snack
                          1/4 cup of pistachio kernals

                          Total for the day is a little light, but weigh in is tomorrow and I really need the scale to move!!! At least the other problem that I had is moving!!! Which is a good thing! LOL
                          1677 calories, 92g fat, only 81g carbs minus 27g fiber, had to make up for yesterday, and 146g protein.

                            Snack - 1 serving of sugar snap peas with 1/2 ounce of cashews (wasn't supposed to do this again, but at least I was able to stop when I was supposed to)

                            Dinner - fresh tilapia filets sauteed in butter; 12 ounces of fresh green beans and 1 cup of mushrooms fried/sauteed together in butter and oil

                            I was supposed to fit some MUP with almonds in tonight to up my calories, carbs, and fiber, but I am just way too full to force it down. So I am lower today in those areas than I had planned to be.

                            Fitday Totals:
                            1310 calories
                            33 net carbs, 26 of those veggie (60g carbs - 27g fiber = 33 net carbs)
                            62% Fat
                            11% Carbs
                            27% Protein

                                Dinner...10 oz shrimp, 1.5 cups green beans sauteed in olive oil, mixed with 1 tsp. montreal spice marinade and 1 tbsp. sour cream.
