    Fitday Totals:
    1680 calories
    47 net carbs, 30 of those net veggie carbs (82g carbs - 35g fiber = 47 net carbs)
    67% Fat
    12% Carbs
    21% Protein

      Scales are giving me hassle at the moment, I need to buckle down

      I'm on day 3 smoke free and i'm turning to munchies, nothing illegal but i shouldnt be doing it, but at the moment i'm okay with gaining a couple of pounds til the cravings wear off some.

      B - 2oz cheese 6 cherry toms

      L - Double cheeseburger from macdonalds with a salad i think!

      D - Garlic chicken breast with 1 cup asparagus and 2 cup mushrooms

        Emma! Congrats on quitting smoking. I didn't know!

        After today you are HOME FREE from the chemical addiction of the cigarettes. The next two weeks will be all about kicking the actual habits/routine of being a smoker. Find new activities to replace all the times you would have smoked. I drank water and then started MOVING more.

        You will notice low blood sugar symptoms, so it is very important to eat regularly and to spread out your veggie carbs throughout all your meals.

            I'm having all the leftovers from the whole week for lunch today. Everything was in it's own baggy, just a tad of this and tad of that...

            breakfast: 3 eggs fried in butter with a little bit of shredded cheddar (look--I'm BARGAINING AGAIN)
            mid morning snack 1 small jicama and 1/4 avocado yummy.
            lunch: Turkey leg, 20 ounces cauliflower (lots) with some olive oil
            Dinner is going to be chicken wings and greek salad I think...going out.

              Thanks girls!

              The cravings have been very intense today, far more than the last 2 days, i've even had "warnings" from the boss on my temper and stress levels, oops!

                Good for you, Emma! I am an ex-smoker, too. It's a b*tch to quit, but you can do it.

                  Dinner - Went out to eat the Ultimate Fajitas (combo of steak, chicken, shrimp, peppers, onions, cheese, sour cream, guacamole)

                  I'm not going to worry about posting the partial Fitday totals that I have, since I never try to enter the fajitas into it. I eat it pretty often, and know it's fine.

                    Mitzi, congratulations on getting back in the groove! I had no doubts.

                    Emma, congrats as well on kicking the nicotine fix!!! Keep it up, you can do it!!! We are all here for you.

                    We had friends that were here visiting this week, so I have not been on much, but I am back to it. I wonder what weigh in is going to be like tomorrow. Hopefully, I will see some movement, but calories have still been high this week. Yesterday however, I did get them back in line.

                    Breakfast
                    1 cup Cherrios with 1/2 cup of soy milk
                    1/2 cup of cottage cheese with 1/2 cup of strawberries
                    2 eggs

                    Lunch
                    8 oz of chicken salad
                    2 cups of cauliflower

                    Dinner
                    1 hamburger with 6 oz of 93/7 ground beef, 1 medium slice of onion, 2 slices of roma tomato, 1.5 tbsp mayo, 1 tbsp low carb ketchup, and 1 whole wheat bun

                    Snack
                    1/2 apple with 1/2 oz cream cheese
                    40 gm of macadamia nuts (between 1/3 and 1/2 cup)

                    1856 calories, 101 grams of fat 49%, 133 grams of protein 29%, and 84 net carbs 22%

                    Pretty good numbers for a change!!!

                      Man, Don... I'm drooling over what you get to eat. Sending good vibes for tomorrow's weigh in.

                      Today was my weigh day... down 3 from that 5 pound catastrophe last weigh in. So, I'm at 127 now... much better. I can take off the last 2 this week.

                      I am thinking that I am going to try weighing more often next week. Still haven't decided how often... maybe throw in a Wednesday weigh in. Part of me wants to do it even more often. I don't want 5 pounds to ever sneak up on me, again. I could tell my clothes were getting tighter that week, but maybe if I had been seeing it happen on the scale, I would have tightened up sooner. On the other hand, I don't want to become obsessed with a stupid number on the scale.

                        Ha ha - I relate. I took off those days at Thanksgiving and said I wouldn't get on the scale again, and then had a real brunch yesterday? Up 6 pounds. 6!!!

                        Back to the scale with me!

                        Break: 2 eggs, mush/onion/ham/cheese omelette, two links, coffee w/ splenda/cream

                          Mitzi, congrats again on getting back on track. Good week for me as well. I lost three pounds as well. One giant whoooshie!!! Yippee!!!

                          Anyway, here is what I had yesterday.

                          Breakfast
                          2 biscuits of Barbara's shredded whole wheat cereal with 1/2 cup of soy mild
                          2 eggs
                          4 oz of greek yogurt with 1/2 cup of strawberries
                          3 cups of coffee, full octane, with one tbsp cream

                          Lunch
                          Ham and swiss cheese sandwich, with 2 slices of whold grain wheat bread, 1.5 tbsp mayo, and 2 slices of pickle stackers
                          2 cups of cauliflower

                          Dinner
                          6 oz of spicy chipotle chicken salad
                          4 oz of cold chicken breast
                          2 cups of cauliflower

                          Snack
                          1 sourdough wasa crispbread

                          Total calories were 1863. 103 grams of fat 49%, 134 grams of protein 29%, and 81 net carbs 22%

                            Hi Everyone!
                            Seriously going back to rung 1 again today, and going to work out harder and longer...
                            Just came back from 4 day weekend at sil in Tennessee... argh! Really tough on the diet... did 'pretty well' but could have been better... okay, chocolate cake isn't pretty well is it? I was bad. It's made for some terrible cravings. Being in the airport... was fantasizing about starbucks crap/cookies... didn't give in to that... but on the way home we picked up food for ds and ... well... blew it again on pizza. Was going to eat salad... bought the salad... it's still in the fridge... I'm blaming Tom as well... but anyways...

                            So here I am... reading through everyone's posts and just wanted to say 'hey!'
                            I'll try to post my food for the day... so far just an egg and coffee and cream and splenda... gotta get off my duff and get out there NOW! Exersize calling!
