I think I'm going to try and make Dr. Atkins recipe for Ratatoulle (sp) -- zucchini & eggplant -- this evening and freeze it for when I move up on the carb ladder.

And... drum roll please ... dropped another pound.

Congrats on the pound lost and you will Love ratatoulle at least I do!!!!!!
and Unless I am way off except for the corn everything on your list you can eat on induction!!!!! No sense in waitng when fresh veggies are available!

It's called the 20/24 exercise challenge because that is all you have to do is 20 minutes of exercise and 24 hours is as long as the challenge lasts. You sign up and say what exercise you will be doing for at least 20 minutes on "The Day." Then, after you complete at least 20 minutes of your chosen exercise, you log onto the challenge and report that you have completed the challenge requirements. Only the exercise you do on the actual day (24 hour period) counts.

I'm also doing the pushup challenge (12/300) this month and the 20/24 challenge (CAN SOMEONE 'SPLAIN TO ME WHY IT IS CALLED THAT?) which is doing 20 minutes of exercise on the 11th (Friday).

And... drum roll please ... dropped another pound.

I'm doing well and sticking to the basics. I'm getting a lot of garden veggies now, and am enjoying them so many different ways. I love squash! I am getting squash (4 kinds), tomatoes, cucumbers and hot peppers. I can't wait until my bell peppers get ripe--I don't like them green, so it is a long wait until they turn red and yellow.

    Sunny!

    Congratulations Sera!

    and, welcome Regandy.

Today I ate lunch at a restaurant. The order came with stuff on it that I wasn't planning for (gravy, salad dressing). I ate it anyway. I still can't send food back to a kitchen. Ugh. Anyway....I'm still in the pink on my sticks, but I'm over a bit on calories today...because I've been hungry. Oh well.

I'm in my second week of weight lifting. Need to do a little cardio, but I haven't done that yet.

Hi everyone. Just checking in to see what was going on.

Not much here. I'm eating good and my keto sticks are purple. I'm a happy camper. ... so far.

In the back of my head is that dreaded fear of a "stall". I HATE that thought almost as much as I hate the actual stalls that I have had. They always make me emotional and fearful and ... just when I whine the most and pitch the biggest fit, the stall breaks and I lose! hahaha

    Anyway, thanks for the welcome!

I lost 80 pounds last year... and I have since put 35 of it back on. SO .. YEAH, it's back to basics for me! I'm on day 6 of induction and I've dropped 4 pounds. Yea me. Like Sunny, I also sing -- and recently saw a photo of me on stage from the side. All I can see is CHIN. I need to do "chin-ups" to get a 1-pack chin (hahaha... sit-ups for a 6 pack).

Nice to meet you all and I look forward to getting to know you better.
Welcome, Becky! We are glad to have you here with us. We need all the people we can get to which to be accountable.

I know I am regretting the weeks that I didn't have time to come to this thread. Just knowing you have to come 'fess up is enough to make you think twice about eating something you don't really need.

    Sunny!

you are such a beautiful lady! i am SURE that anyone who was at the program could see that. good idea to use the photo for your own accountability. i wish i still had one of me at 220! nothing like that to keep you on the straight and narrow.

have a good day and remember that the "you" we all see is the one you see looking straight on in the mirror....not an awful "up the nose" shot. (who woulda done that ANYWAY??)
Thanks! I have a feeling that the picture will end up in the display case for such things at the church. I just got this e-mail from my pastor (yes, his first name is really Temple):

    Carole,
    Just got the newspaper.
You are on the front page...
    singing your heart out.

    GREAT shot,
    Temple

Qbu, sounds like you're building some of that momentum.
