Hey, where did everyone go ?? Am I the only one still posting here ??
Well, day 14 low carb for me today, and day 13 of no caffiene or artifical sweetners, so that is very exciting.
I will be starting week three of low carb tomorrow.
Down another pound to 228 .
I hope everyone is having a great day !!

Hi there amiga. I just read a post in Delia's journal. You totally inspired me and ignited that spark again girl. You always have that magic touch. I know the post wasn't for me but it hit home and I'm borrowing it. LOL!

I needed to hear that after everything I've gone through. Thanks.

ok, i went up to 25 net carbs today.
All still proper foods, even made my own gyros and tzatziki *yumm*.
I'm almost back to the weight in my signature, I hope the rest goes this week since I'm being a good girl

I think I'll stick to somewhere around 30 net carbs for a while now until I'm back on track properly.
I know I still lost at 55 but I did eat quite a lot of low carb junk too because I got careless the more carb freedom I had.
    so, no more of that!

    HI Mitzi,
I hate housework too, but it just sits there and waits for us anyway. It is so unfair !!
Day nine for me today and feeling great !!
I am sure it will be nice to have more time at home tomorrow , you can do it, You did not get where you are now without being able to do it !!
Just come here if you have a weak moment so we can talk you through it !!
Sometimes I will brush my teeth with a good amount of toothpaste and that pretty much takes away the desire for most any food, nothing tastes too good right after you brushed your teeth !!
I have a hard time getting to fit day some days, but I do like using it , I think it is great tool !!
I hope you have a nice day tomorrow !!

GLENDA! Look at you, girl!! Wow, this is really great news... thanks for sharing!

Stephie and Sera are lighter as well! Woot!

Joy, I am usually the same way - when I'm not using Fitday I tend to get into trouble. I may be playing with fire, as I haven't used Fitday in a couple of weeks. But I was getting so burned out with everything, that I had to take a break. So far, so good... we'll see how long that lasts.

Short day at work tomorrow... my food is usually right on target when I'm trapped at work all day... I can only eat what I bring with me. I'll have a lot more freedom at home, tomorrow. Need to keep myself busy! LOL... there's a million things around the house that desparately need tending to. I HATE housework!

    thanks mitzi
you might be right there, it could be that the snacking is really a part of me not losing anymore.
I wouldnt even know if it was too many calories because lazy me stopped using fitday a while ago.
I've started that again because obviously something had gone wrong over the last months.
I'm sure my carbs were on track but indeed those calories

well 2 days back on ~20 net carbs and 1,5 kg of the more than 2 kg water weight I gained are gone already.
Another 700 gram and I'm back at my April weight \o/

And from there it's onward to goal!

Well, I hope everyone had a good weekend, I sure did.
I did good on my plan and I am happy with how I am doing.
Got up a pound lighter which was exciting and ate perfect all day and so far have aobut 90 ounces of water but should end the day with about 140 to 150 minium. We were out all day and I did not want to stop too much so I did not drink as much as normal.
I hope we all have great low carb weeks !!

And I have realized yesterday that I've really gotten into a snacking habit, nuts, strawberries, cherries, coconut, all legal and usually not a problem but obviously impossible to do on 20 carbs lol.
Sera, that snacking habit definitely gets me in trouble! All legal food, but my body just can't handle that many calories. I'm proud of your effort!

Stephie, isn't Sherri great?! She's an Atkins warrior, that's for sure. I'm in awe of both of you for ditching the sweeteners.

Good day for me - food was good, and today I started Week 7 (of 9) of the Couch 2 5K program. I jogged 2.5 miles in 28 minutes, 45 seconds.

Long day at work tomorrow, so I'll check in again in the evening. Have an awesome week, and a rocking Monday!

I've definitely learned over the last months that quick losses arent going to happen for me, especially with barely any excercise, so I'm actually quite proud of the patience I have developped

Have a good, basic day everyone!

Hi Joy, I agree, the bacon fat is just so good. I like to sometimes cook my green beans in it too. I try to eat them steamed most of the time, but have to have it the southern way once in a while lol !!
Hi MItzi, I cannot believe I have been able to give up the sweetners, honestly. I have been such an addict to them every time I low carb. I usually have them in my diet soda, tea, or crystle light, and then make several differant low carb desserts with them too. I am doing great on the water and still shocked that I am taking it so well, lol !! I want to lose this weight more than I want to eat or drink anything and that is the only reason I can do this I think !! Sherri has been a huge help to me and is the one that really got me to do it, I am grateful to her for that !!!
Hope everyone is having a great low carb weekend !!

    Good Morning!

Just a quick breeze through this morning before work...

Stephie, you've got a streak going! I am majorly impressed with you being caffiene and sweetener free. Although I've never really ever used caffiene, I don't know that I could ever give up sweeteners entirely. I have cut back on them in a big way, though, and I do feel better. You're strong - Keep up your great work!

Sera, welcome to the group! Yep, what you're doing definitely counts. Each of us is so unique in our tolerances, and just the fact that you are addressing yours is great. Doing Atkins correctly takes a great deal of time, effort, and patience, don't you think? It's exactly why you can't be in a hurry... it's always a work in progress! As you can see, Joy and I have been in Maintenance and yet, are still working at it. The truth is, it is a lifetime commitment. One that I am willing to make, though, because it is all about the health, too.

Joy, LOL... yes, my mom did the exact same thing to me with the anorexia thing. And when I asked her how eating nearly 2000 calories a day qualified me as anorexic, she said "well, you have an anorexic mentality".

OK, gotta go get ready for work. Have an excellent day!

Mitzi, I can outeat my hubby too. Wanna know how much of a dork he is? But then again...he *is* concerned about me too.... Anyway, one night we're sitting here at dinner. I just ate DOUBLE what he ate. Let me rephrase that: I INHALED double the amount of food he leisurely ate, and we get to discussing my weight loss and he voices his concern that I'm becoming anorexic. I had to say to him, B, did you SEE how much I just ate? I just ate DOUBLE what you ate. How is that anorexia?

He doesn't think about what he says sometimes....Not to mention I still weigh 184 lbs for crying out loud.

Stephie, that is what I do too. Cook my eggs in my meat drippings (rendered fat--pork, chicken, beef--whatever is available) it tastes SO MUCH better.
