    Well, I didn't do much tonight, I bought a floor mirror so I had to lug it around! The guy who brought it out from the back of the store didn't bring it out to the car where I was waiting! I waited a while and finally went in and my mirror was sitting there... lol oh well... so I lugged it everywhere and it was heavy. Never made it to Wally world for weights but maybe tomorrow after work(I think my dogs will need their big 50lb bag of purina by then too!lol). I still need to do some sit ups. I wasn't hungry at all tonight so I made 2 eggs and bacon and ate most of it. I am not hungry but man I feel like I am in need of a TON of water! I don't know why! Probably those nasty pork rinds, I don't like them but I wasn't prepared at work today so I ate what I had there that was legal!

      Don't be jealous, I just started. In fact today was my first day, you should have seen how slow I was going, you would have laughed, hard. Do you guys have Academy's in Tenn. That is where I got my hand weights, they were pretty inexpensive, I even got the nice ones that are wrapped in felt. I got mine for about 2 bucks each.

      I can't believe you are working 16 hours tomorrow, that is gonna be tough. I used to work 16 hour days in the emergency at a hospital. I worked 16 hours on Sat. and then another 16 on Sun. so I could go to school during the week. Get plenty of rest afterwards, I was always trashed on Monday and absolutly no good to the world.

        Ok, I had a pretty great eating day and I feel like sharing so I'm gonna post my menu for the day.

        Breakfast:
        3 scrambled eggs, w/1 ounce shredded cheese, and pace picante sauce

        Lunch:
        6 oz. of tilapia fish with hot sauce and lime juice

        Snack: 2 HB eggs, with mayo and LC ketchup

        Dinner:
        Small steak with butter/sour cream sauce
        1/4 cup cabbage
        1/4 cup cauliflower
        2 brussel sprouts (I only got two cause I didn't know if I would like them or not, pretty good)
        1 cup mushrooms

        I splerged a little and ate 4 small strawberries and 1 tiny piece of cateloupe for desert.

        I did go over a bit on my calories so I will do a bit more excercise tonite, when I am not so full.

        I hope everyone is having a nice Friday. Jon and I are staying in, he's upstairs putting Abi to bed and then we are gonna watch Hitch, I'm excited; he's never seen it before and I have, but it is so funny I can't wait to watch it again.

          I don't think we have any academys but walmart should be fairly cheap. I think I want to get some 2lb weights and then maybe some 5lb. We have a barbell set, but it is too much trouble to chnge out the weights to just 5lbs,I'd rather just have them handy! My fingers have been getting a workout on this computer though!!! LOL Have a good evening!

            yeay! I am proud of myself. I have been saying I was going to exercise and I finally did it! Yeay for me... Tomorrow I will not, well, maybe after 16 hours if I am not tooo drained I will do some situps. I did 120 tonight. 40 upper, 20ea side, lower and mid. Now it is bedtime so I an work well tomorrow!!!!

              That's great Rikki, congrats on the ab workout.

              Even though I did some running this morning I decided to do my 3 mile tape tonite. I looked over my menu and was about 200 calories over my BMR. I felt kinda guilty about this so I went ahead and popped the tape in, thinkin I would only do a mile and a half with no weights. Well the mile and a half came and went, and I finished the tapes WITH weights. I am so glad because I really wanted to work out my arms some tonite, and I did that.

              I burned a total of 600 calories today.

              I am so anal, I have a written log (besides fitday) of all the calories burned through excercise and eating less, at the end of the week a tally them up and devide by 3500, supposedly this is how many pounds I have lost this week. Well I am taking a complete day off tomorrow, so I did my tally and I have a 4,800 calorie deficit for the week. If I am doing my math right that means that this week I lost 1.37 pounds. I guess we will see on the 6th. Geez, I just smelled myself and I stink...off to hit the shower and then try to sleep.

                haha! I hate when I get smelly but I guess it means I have been working out hard, soit can be a good thing?! If I take a shower immediately of course! LOL Well, I just wanted to pop my head in before work... I probably won't be able to eat a lot today, too busy. I need to make sure I find something for breakfast, so I am gonna go! Check in with yall later!!!

                  Boy I sure feel like I have been lets somewhere look at you two just a chatting. The puter got stolen from me last night by my hubby LOL computer HOG.

                  Hey rikki and My Sweety Yoly how are things going today. WOW you two did sooooo GREAT yeasterday I am SOOO PROUD i feel like a proud moma when her kids step out and do something new How Wonderful what a great few weeks we are going to have together and then maybe we could make a new challenge between eachother.

                  Rikki about you being sooo thirsty that is awesome cause it means your body is in Ketosis right now which is totally what you want and I think it's great you're craving water Ya girl you GO and DO your thing. 16 hour day Holly cow that's a long few days I sure hope you don't get too burnt. If you can't exercise don't worry that in itself is taxing enough on the body I sure hope you get some sleep so that you can be refreshed when you're done your long shifts.

                  I have a rest day today but, I'm not too sure about that I have to do something maye I'll jog slow since it is an option for me today tomorrow is my long run I am going to go for 7.3 miles that will bring up my totoal a little I will do what I cna handle and see where it takes me. LOL I'm excited for next week already.

                  WOOOHOOOO we all ROCK lets keep this party going I'm so EXCITED for ALL of us.

                    You are our cheerleader Sarah. I feel great about this challenge and would love to continue after September.

                    I am taking a REAL rest day today, no weights, no walking, no rollerblading, no nothing. I want to give my body a day off before the next 6 WEC.

                    The gods were nice to me and I finally got 7 hours of sleep last night. I have been averaging about 3 a night, so I am very happy with 7. I feel refreshed and completly energized. I met up today with some people I haven't seen in a few months, I shared the amount of weight and inches I had lost and they started clapping for me. I felt so good, I almost cried.

                    I am going to lay around all day today and enjoy being at home with absolutly nothing to do. I hope you girls are having a nice day so far, and will come back and check up on ya later.

                      I can do this! I wanted to take a day off from excercise, but all day I have been walking around my house with absolutly nothing to do. I am so restless! I can't handle it. I think I'm gonna do my 3 miles.

                        LOL- you guys are great! WOW 7.3 mi! Holy cow! I just got off of my 16 hour day and it is about Midnight! Yikes, I have to be back at work at 7 in the morning! Not too much sleep for me tonight that is for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                        Yoly- your rest day is supposed to be for rest!!! But I know the restless feeling! However, I don't get to have it very often! When I am tired I definitely take advantage of my nothing to do time!!!!

                        YOU girls are doing wonderful!!!!

                        I am glad to hear all the water cravings could be from ketosis! Yeay! I am dinking 2 lc beers tonight to try to get myself to sleep mode! After 16 hours of being wound up it is hard to go right to bed! and I definitely need some rest before 7!!!!

                          Ya get some sleep sweety. Yup today is my 7.3 mile day AHHH I'll do it though I am stubborn as all ****. HE HE. I told yoly this but if you get some Melatonin it will help you get into sleep mode. What is happening is your stress hormone Cortisol supresses the melatoning and makes it so you are in the fight or flight mode you can't sleep you toss and turn your mind is racing this is what happens when you cortisol is too high and it also hampers your ability to lose weight. So the melatonin helps take it for a couple of days you'll notice a HUGE difference. Of course I'm not a doctor but, it worked really great form me better then any sleeping pill ever did and it's natural and you don't wake up feeling groggy either.

                          Any how I better go how's everything Yoly girl hopefully well.

                            Thanks for the info. Do I just gat that like a supplement at the drugstore? hmmm, seems I have heard that before but I will have to try it, although I admit- I enjoy my lc beer

                              Yup just get it in a health food store some drugstores will probably have it. I like LC beer too but can't do that every night HA HA HE HE!!!!
