    The one that got away....bahahahaha....you should hear my daughter's story about the one that got away about 10 years ago! That thing gets bigger every time she tells it!

    Congrats on the fam joining you! I'm trying to get my hubby on board, but he's not ready quite yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed though!

        daughter is reading all the posts..she spent most of the morning creating her Avatar--come on, it had to be just right! wife probably will not go on-line much or just checking in maybe, she has a computer in her office but is not the on-line type..maybe the board will change her...

        I remember when I was a freshman in highschool, first day in home room, I was 14! 6' and a man!! . sat next to this little shrimpy thing with giant round glasses like two Telescopes on her face..books in front of her, books on either side..even books in back of her seat..oh Brother..I'm sitting next to the school brainiak! 31 years later, and one heck of a road traveled, and she's still sitting right next to me..wouldn't want to see even one sunrise with out her. I'd talk about my daughter, but she'll make me erase it

          Bill...LOL...wife may not be the on-line type yet...we will try to convert her. In the meantime...you best behave or you just might wake up in the middle of the night one night with a rubber clown next to you....ROFL! Can't wait to see your DD's Avatar. I told you you had a special family!!

          BTW...I am married to my highschool sweetheart too! We were sweet sixteen.

                I actually need exercise vibes, because I ampretty sure that is what is going on with me!

                Livelaughlove: We will whoosh. I am sure we have post induction stall syndrome. It is appropriately acronymed PISS- because that is what we are - ed!

                Had a good day, just got done cleaning my kids room! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO nasty. My 4.5 yo son has been "stashing" food and dirty cups under his matress. He hates me. LOL. No ants, though, so I caught it in time. I thought it smelled wierd in there!

                  I agree--I actually gained weight in last weeks (saturday) check in --

                  I reviewed my diet.
                  I cut down sugar,(less than 1 a day) anything that was processed,(packaged or bagged or boxed) i didn't touch it and doubled my water, I found out my true calorie intake a day and compared it to my recommended calories for my height, weight and age and tried to stay even ..I weighed in that saturday and the Whooosh hit tuesday, wendsday...I am sloooowly adding back to find out what is was..but it most likely was just my body making the switch or PISS.

                    Sorry Elsie... of course I hope everyone's scale is moving in the right direction! ... and I guess it is PISS because im pissed :P as long as it will go away then I am good. Bill thats a good idea maybe I need to find my true calorie intake... where did you find what it should be for your height weight etc. How many calories are you having a day?

                      good morning buddies. i got some good news this morning. normally i weigh in on mondays, but decided to weigh in today to have my official weight for the start of the 6 week challenge. got on the scale, and BAM!!!!! 5 lbs down!!!!! i had to look at the scale for like 2 mins, to make sure i was seeing it right. that's a total of 15 lbs in not quite a month.

                      i just had to let you guys know, and will pray for everyone that the next weigh in is as positive as mine was today.

                      hope everyone has a good day, i gotta go post my weight for my challenge.

                        AAHHH...the dreaded word...PISS...The place where only the strong survive....where the most trusting make it through...it is a place where we learn to trust Dr A. Where we learn patience. Stay strong..stay on plan and you will see the scale move again!!

                        Monie...YOU ROCK!!! That is great. I am sure the fact that you didn't just meet your excerise goals but continued on to greatly surpass them played a huge part in that. Weigh to go for going above and beyond!!! Are you going to rung 2?

                        I never really added anything new. Just ate more of the same old same old. But then that is how I will normally be eating. If I find some new veggie I want to try I will cross that bridge when I come to it. I will be going on to rung 2 as I really won't be eating more than the 3 cups veggies plus 5 more carbs daily. Some days it is hard to get that much in.

                        Tomorrow...are you staying strong?? Can you feel us supporting you??

                        Val...wipe up the drool...I told you we got family coming! How is baby sleeping?

                          thanks elsie. i'm pretty proud of the fact i exceeded my exercise challenge goals.

                          yes i do plan on moving on to rung 2. i'm not really big on dairy but i thought i'd try some low carb yogurt or mabye some low carb milk. it's been years since i've had cottage cheese and not too sure i even cared for it then, i may try it though. will decide when i go shopping which i want to add back in. i'm leaning toward the yogurt though. it will be an easy snack to take during my long week at work.

                          i did add a new veggie for my week doing rung 1. i added pumpkin. i used it a couple times to add to my mock danish and that was really good. i also made kinda like a type of pumpkin pudding one night. i used pumpkin, cream cheese, cinnamon, nutmeg, and splenda. it was pretty good. i still found it difficult getting 25 net carbs in on a few days, but i will continue with the pumpkin, it didn't seem to cause cravings.

                            Monie...I tried the pumpkin during induction. It wasn't bad and I may try a few more things with it. I am going to add ricotta cheese as there was a recipe I wanted to try with it. I don't like plain yogurt and I can't use the fruit ones since I am not on the fruit rung so unless it is in a recipe that would be all I would be adding...maybe more recipes with the cream and cheese. That sort of thing. Want to try the cauliflower pizza.

                              Hope all haveing a good day..we all made breakfast in the morning, wierd to see them gobble down the induction breakfast so quick..I am still forcing down food..just not hungry..My Daughter posted her Introduction and will post her SW, CW. GW and pics (have to be just right) later

                              hope that's right? it's called lifescript..it's based on your height, weight, age..but most importantly you Activity level..I know your and all out excercise type..Hope you get the advice you need! and post in the main board too, other's may offer some great advice too..
