    Bill...I can imagine the great meals that are going to be at your house!! I popped into the intro section to say Hi to DD. That is great that you are forging ahead to rung 1. Learning the ropes so you can help lead the family to success. Way to go Dad!

      Did I mention I cheated?
      I skipped a rung
      I ate strawberries
      I had a reaction
      I went on a carb binge

      Its been 6 days since my last confession.

      Back on track. Gonna do induction for three days to get back into ketosis. Started the 6-WEC today! I'm not going down without a fight!

              It ended with ice cream. LOL
              I just measured and weighed to start the six weeks exercise challenge. I am excited. I am going to try to hide my scale from myself.

              This happened last time too. I just can't eat strawberries. =(

                  Hello Elsie, I am doing WONDERFUL!! Wish I had found this diet sooner. I cant beleive the results I am seeing as well as feeling. At times I dont understand the stall but so long as the scale,(me enemy), keeps moving down then I am more than happy. God Bless, Joe

                    That is great Joe!!! Something to think about next time that scale isn't moving like you want it too...even with the breaks your body takes you are still so far ahead in weight lose than on any other plan. I was reading DANDR today and it says a stall is when you do not lose for 4 weeks. So something to keep in mind.

                    Do you think it made any difference in losing weight or energy or cravings once you replaced the cool whip with heavy cream??

                      No, but honestly I really wasnt eating much of it to notice. It was once weekly and some weeks twice at the most. God Bless, Joe

                          Oh and I rarely have cravings now. Especially since after the first week. Now that school's out, I take me girls for either ice cream or italian ices nightly and I really have no desire to have any. For what?? A momentary pleasure. Nah, it isnt worth it to me. This is my first, and last time I plan on doing this diet and I'm gonna ride it for however long I can. I really have a great support cast at home. God Bless, Joe

                            Hey everyone! You won't believe this, but I DID hear the little voices in my head. They were saying to KILL...KILL...KILL...no wait, that was the "other" voices....

                            The little ones were you guys saying, "You can do it!". And I am! I came home from my mom's this afternoon thinking I wanted to throw it all away and debauch the afternoon away...but I didn't! Not at all. I opted for a diet cola instead (and my afternoon EFA's). I haven't really been doing sweetened stuff, but I thought it would be better than the alternatives! My water has been only pure though, and at least 3 litres a day (I think that's about 12 gallons).

                            Unlike some of you, I'm a daily weigher. It doesn't drive me crazy or anything, but because of that I know I've lost 6 pounds since the "incident" prior to June 21st (Splandrea, you wanna talk about confession!).

                            All I have to do is start feeling around to where my quickly shrinking lady lumps are and know that I just can't cheat again. I'm making progress and I'm feeling good and that's my motivation! That and my cheer squad.....thanks everyone!

                              hey everyone, just got back from walmart to restock fridge. it's now full of fresh (and some frozen) veggies, steaks, and ground beef. i'm getting ready to start a big ole meatloaf and cook up some taco meat for this next weeks lunches at work. will fix some veggies up too to pack in the lunches. i think i will fix some chicken breasts for dinner tonight with some zuchinni and mushrooms sauted in butter.

                              Splandrea-atleast now you know that strawberries are a big trigger for you and you can stay away from them. it's only with trial and error that these things are figured out. just get back on track and you will be fine.
                              for me moving on to the nut rung is going to be a big challenge. i have trouble just eating my allowance. they are a pretty big trigger, not that they make me want high carb foods, but i just can't stop eating them when i start.

                              oh yeah, i forgot to mention, while i was at walmart i got something else too. i got a purple sparklie HULA HOOP!!!!------no laughing...bill.....i hear those chuckles......stop it......LOL!!!!!!!!!! all jokes aside, even though it really is kinda funny, waiting for the sign-up for the july challenge so i can sign up.....that will definately be something i do after DH goes to bed at night....

                              well off to get started on my cooking frenzy. have a great evening all.

                                Monie...LOL...a hula hoop...come on....let us see!!! Actually I bet that that will be really good for the waist. Once you get the groove of it. My exercise would be bending over to pick it back up...LOL!
