    Wow those clouds sound goooood. I'm having a major love affair with butter these days. My husband keeps finding ways to slip that joke into every situation.

    I made these cool tuna patties for dinner that will require some tweaking, but were an awesome change. A can of tuna, a blended egg, some spices (I used cajun, roasted red pepper, onion powder, garlic & sea salt, and pepper), and a spoon of mayo. I used a bit too much mayo, so I had to crush up some pork rinds to bind it a bit. Then I fried them in butter like patties (yup, using that butter!).

    They were really good. I would like a bit more of a crust on them though, so I think I might coat them in my Carbquik next time and see if they crisp up a bit. I might put a bit of cream cheese in them next time. I was also thinking this would be really good with crab instead of tuna.

    For veggies I had asparagus, French cut green beans, and mushrooms sauted with bacon. All in all a great dinner!

      Had a good day but I feel like I am retaining water. My ring was falling off this morning, and now its snugger.

      The fires here are SO bad right now and the smoke SO incredibly thick that the air quality is horrid and we cant see very far out on the horizon. Surrounded by foothills and then mountains and cant see any of them! People are getting evacuated left and right, so I am having to cover for peeps at work. Luckily, it does not look like our house or neighborhod will be in danger - unless the next set of thunderstorms to roll through (this weekend) do any damage!

          I makes me a dessert using 1/2 can of pumpkin, i tab butter, 1 tblspn heavy crean, some ground cinnamon(to taste). Mix it all togetherm, nuke it 45 seconds or so. Remix add some cool whip on top and voila, we have dessert. Tastes real good me thinks. God Bless, joe

              Tomorrow...dinner sounds good. I had spaghetti squash and hamburger with a sour cream/mayo sauce.

              Splandrea...certainly is possible. That happens to me lately too. But with my shoes. Don't worry about it and keep drinking your water. I feel for you about the fires. I had one several years ago come to within 100 feet of my house. It is a very surreal yet life impacting thing.

                        Hmmm...I think it isn't allowed. We are allowed Heavy Cream which can be made into whipped cream with Splenda. Let me check...BRB

                          Yeah funny too without doing a minute of cardio. Well not really I walk alot during the course of my day and both me girls play sports so I dont need a gym membership. Oh and always running to the store because me wife needs something or another. Do food store runs count towards cardio?? God Bless, Joe

                            Dinner tonight was all from Linda's site--hooked on the haddock with seafood sauce--make my sauce without the crab tho--use lobster--it's more abundant here on the Cape. added a sliver of her strawberry cheese cake..so good

                            Buddie--I fell into the low card beer trap..didn't realize it was stalling me.
                            which it did..But induction is more than weight loss--you are switching the state of your body. So stay on the clean induction and you can have cheese (controlled amount) and spread it out through your entire day's menu

                            Splandrea--WTG after 16 day's..I shop for my veggie's at local family owned farm stands..so cheap and as they get to know you they welcome you and deals get better and better..A woman who grows in a hot house
                            said to me "I put this aside for you" it was a Zucchinne that looked as long as my leg! she charged me a dollar!

                            Andiepie--Welcome and looks like things are going great induction wise.
                            will move off induction soon myself I think--actually gained a pound my second week,,but now experiencing a whoosh thing..my body's holding on for some reason..then dumps..not really sure weather to move on or see this thru till things settle.

                            Lesszmore--welcome and I think your outlook is correct..the rungs were designed to introduce you to the correct way to new and different foods.
                            and this time you will make it past rung 1!

                                Thanks for the info, tomorrow I'm gonna ahve to break the news gently to me girls. No more cool whip for daddy, from now on they gonna have to eat it all by themselves. Oh and Bill, I create my entire menu but I have been looking at the Linda's one and stuff.
