        Hi all! Welcome new buddies!! Had some bad storms roll thru here today, guess the worst headed for Duluth, 70 mph winds and golf ball sized hail. Bf made it home safely, and we had the pizza again with the cheese and egg crust. We just call it upside down pizza. Bf helped since he got home from work early, that was soooo nice, I have never cooked as much as I have in the past 2 weeks! I had my first rung 1 food! I had a whole tomato, halves with tuna salad amd mozz on top, broiled. Sure felt like a treat! Made the kids pizza rolls and I relaly don't have a problem craving that stuff, I'm surprised. Put a pecan pie in front of me and that would def be another story!! Bf told me that when he stopped for coffee this am, he almost broke down and bought a carmel roll, but he didn't!! Well, gotta run to the store to get a movie and milk for the kids. I also have a huge test tomorrow, so better get back to studying!! Oh, and the instructor won't be available for a whole week now, I really don't understand how he is getting paid for this online class. Its only been 4 weeks, and he took off 5 straight days, then 7. And he is in Italy to boot and that is his excuse, they don't have good internet available there. What-ever!! Still looking forward to getting a wt loss boost from my exercise to be started on Sunday!!!

            Bill...wellllll...not 100-200 pounds....but not individual size servings either. Never mind the salsa and sour cream with them. Will take my punishment like a woman...as soon as I get out of fetal postion.

            Val...there are no pork rinds left to back away from. Hmm...that could be looked upon as a good thing!

              Oh ya, oh ya, oh ya....I met my jump rope challenge today....oh ya, oh ya, oh ya!!!!!

              Now all that's left is the plank. And today, I was able to make it for a whole minute without any rests, so I'm definitely getting stronger!

              Still on plan too! I'm sooooo proud of myself! My husband made himself some "snacks" tonight. Samosas, french fries, and potato patties (like the McDonald's hashbrowns). Talk about a carb fest, and I loooooove samosas. Here's the best part...I didn't even want any of it! None of it! I looked his plate and though, "yuck". And I didn't even need to pretend I thought that.....I really did. So I went and got a glass of water (my last for the day) and sipped that.

              Oh ya, oh ya, oh ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                  hey ya'll! hope everyone is doing ok. i had a really busy day at work.....we had to play catch up from shutting down early for the company picnic. usually mornings are a little slow and picks up later in the day, but i was going full blast the whole day. next week is gonna be even worse, due to end of month and because of week being short because of july 4th weekend. we will be doing 10 hr shifts all 4 days. i gotta make sure i plan my snacks and meals out this weekend, cause i know i'll be too tired to do much cooking next week. maybe i will make a meatloaf and some taco meat up this weekend so that i'll have plenty for my lunches next week.

                  tomorrow- wtg on jumprope challenge, hope everything goes well with the move

                  Val-i did notice you joined the 6 week challenge right after i responded to you question about where to find the threads. glad you joined. wtg on getting almost a full nights sleep. hope the trend continues so you can be well rested for our exercise challenge.

                  Splandrea-glad you decided not to cheat. way to stay strong.

                  Elsie-those pork rinds can get the best of you, believe me i know from previous experiences. i bought a bag the other day, still haven't opened them yet, kinda afraid to now...hehehe

                  bill-good luck tomorrow on your weigh in. keeping my fingers crossed that the scales show a big loss for ya.

                  joe-hope you have some down time this weekend to relax after all the tourney stuff ends. don't forget to take some low carb snacks with ya and stay away from the concession stands.

                    "Val...there are no pork rinds left to back away from. Hmm...that could be looked upon as a good thing!" Way to be positive!! Aren't those things fried pig skin?? I have never tried them and it sounds just not very appealing, although I'm sure they are like chips or something.

                    WTG Tomorrow on all the exercise accomplishments!!!! I sure admire you!!! And good willpower, I'm sure you will see this thru to day 11 for sure this time!!

                    Yes, Joe, make sure you take a cooler today!!!! Those snacks will be calling you!!

                    Happy cooking Monie, it sure is all in the planning! doh! Reminds me that I haven't even planned anything for today!! And yeah, the little stinker didn't sleep very well last night, he was too tired to get any cereal into at bedtime. Oh well, tonite is another nite!!

                      Awww thank you all! Thank you for the hugs and support. This next week has got to get better. I have learned not to say "what else could go wrong?" So I wont. Oh and I dont feed my in-laws anymore. After they basiclly said they dont like my cooking because it is "different"! My husband says its because his mom CAN'T cook! He hated her cooking growing up and still hates it. So I know is jelousy. But I will not set myself up to be knocked down anymore. So humph, there! Plus the in-laws only stay for about 2 hours..maybe.


                      Oh and welcome to all the new peeps! I am glad you are here and you will be too! I sure love my new buddies!

                        Oh lord give me strength for I can not do this on my own! Yesterday we had lunch brought in, Chinese! I love me some Chinese food. But I didnt eat any. But I will tell ya, those cold spring rolls are callin my name! So I hope what I did is not too bad. I went back and gutted one. I only ate the cabbage inside I promise! Then I dropped the rest in the garbage. But when I turned around there were these hybrid cookie/brownies staring me down from the table! So I went over and threw the whole container in the garbage! Shhhhh, dont tell my co-workers . Oh well I am helping them even if they dont think so..lol

                          You threw it away! WOW! You got guts. I would be so sure I would get caught!

                          I made the key lime pie and it really tastes like key lime pie - and it is delicious! I had people over last night and they were jealous of my menu. that was awesome. Of course, I let them taste stuff because I wanted to "convert." But nobody wants to give up beer all weekend (I have never really been into alcohol - maybe once a week). It was easy for me to give it up.

                          Anywho... today I will be typing and cleaning my house. My son made sure to steal the ketchup out of the fridge and put little drops of it all over the house when my back was turned - now there are little piles of ants everywhere. Yay!

                            Val...yes that is what they are. There was a recipe that made them into sortof a cinnamon toast crunch kind of cereal thing. I never got that far. Some grind them up and use them in their fried chicken. Or as filler in hamburger...that sort of thing. Not as good as chips. Hence the sour cream and salsa with them. Oh well...if I can at least show no gain by Monday that will be good.

                            Andie...well...I hope the visit goes quickly for you. OMG Andie...I would never have had the guts to throw them away. Glad you didn't get caught or you would have had some irrate people on your hands. LOL!!!

                            Splandrea...No one can say the food is not good. Okay..have to reboot. I pressed some sort of button that is not giving all my commas and such french symbols.

                              I did throw them out. There are only 4 of us girls and the Dr. We are all pretty close so even if I did get caught I would have just said "your a$$ doesnt need them anyway!" kinda sounds mean but we are like a bunch of girlfriends here. We all tell each other how it is. You kinda have to in such a small practice. My hubby is at home and my rents are coming out to visit and will be there before I get home. So I called my mom up and said "there is a package of chicken and a package of bacon in the fridge that needs to be cooked, do you think you can cook them up for me? And I will assemble lunch when I get home?" Because if I dont have something to eat reletivly quickly when I get home then I will come up with any and I mean any excuse to eat crap. Bad, yes but atleast I am learning to prepair myself and keep an eye on my own bad habits.

                              ~ Andrea, your kid gets in the fridge and steals the ketchup? Lmao..thats funny. I am sure it wouldnt be funny if it were my kid but I read that and though it was hilarious.

                              Who is throwing cats or dogs? Can someone throw my bird? He kept me up last night, I'll pay. Just kidding, I love the lil $hitbird.

                                good mornin' buddies. got an early start this mornin' (atleast for me and on a weedend) was up before 9 this mornin'. i have an appointment to get a cut/color at my hairdresser's today. a little gift to myself for doing so well. albeit, a much needed appointment as well. DH bought a kegorator(sp) last night, i'm afraid i may never get him out of the house now......LOL

                                well, been up more than 2 hrs and no breakfast yet. better go fix something before getting ready for my appointment. hope everyone has a great low carb, cheat free day.

                                ps. elsie love your new quote....there seems to be so many posts on this board from people who seem defeated because of some cheat or scales not moving. if they could only learn from mistakes and figure out a way to get through, and rise up from them, they would be much better off
