    Hmmm--wonder if I can open my fried green beens and fried Pickle stand in between the fried Twinkee stand and the fried Snicker's stand? some name like " I'm in a Pickle" or " Beans, Beans are good for the heart" ?
    called the fair grounds..they are setting up a place for me..said it was next to some old picnic benches!

          oops set you off! didn't realize you were a budding entrepreneur! LOL
          can just imagine the smells--fried peanut butter cups and batter dipped eggplant or broccoli. They would close my stand down as more of a mercy killing than anything else...

              Oh my gosh Elsie, I love ricotta cheese , you don't even know, hahaha!!! I will be counting the days 'til I can try that recipe!! Oh, and I've been keeping up with the exercise, I did another hour on the stationary bike today, but this time I think I may have overdone it.. it's one of those bikes with the fan in the middle and the handlebars that you push back and forth (like and elliptical) and I think I may have pulled some muscles in my shoulder blades..so tomorrow I'll have to try walking or something and give that a rest.

              So far today I've drank 6c of water and 2c of ice tea (that mummy made for the diet) but OMG yesterday...I realized at 10:00 at night that I'd only done 2c and I decided not to drink anymore that night..hope that didn't hurt me!

              Oh, and speaking of GOAL clothes, the majority of my closet consists of them..I was 140 through most of my high school years so only stuff I've bought this year fits me well. Talk about a motivator -- I want my clothes back!!

                Cori...I can see why if that was any indication of what it can taste like. Yummy! You just have to climb the rungs to the dairy. Give your shoulder time to heal. If you pull it again before it is healed you will be out twice as long. It is good to shake things up anyway.

                lots of people have trouble with the water. Try to get into a habit of carrying around a water bottle. It is a lot easier to get down if it is always with you. Disappears like magic in front of the TV for me...LOL! Keep up the great work!

                I'll try to save some Ricotta for you.

                  Yes I carry a water bottle that holds 8c so I know each day that I'm supposed to drink all of it..

                  'Rents want to go to the movies tonight but I'm worried -- I dunno if I wanna go when I can't have all the snacks =(

                    Take your Dad's cue. When he first started he got asked out but didn't feel ready. Soon afterward he did. If you think it may make you cheat you are better off to avoid it for now.

                    If you can remember that some junk food one night is not worth your health and not fitting into your skinny clothes and not worth undoing all the exercise you have done and you can stay strong then go...even 'cheat' with a diet coke. Microwave some pepperoni slices for about 1 min on a paper towel and put them into a baggie. In another put some small cubes of cheese. Sneak them in. Also...drink a huge glass of water before you go.

                      we decide not to go because we are getting our movie channels turned on today..and no way would I cheat, it would have just been excruiating!!

                      Oh, something I forgot to tell you all -- I am a vegetarian!!! Well, technically a pescatarian because I eat fish, eggs, and dairy products..have been now for over a year..

                        Okay...make that cheese crisps then. In the mic. Yummy. Well..that is interesting...but it can be done. Atkins isn't high protein. You need 30% of daily calories from protein.

                        Staying home sounds like a much better thing right now. Good friends!!

                            hi there everyone. looks like there's been another busy day of posting on here today, and you guys were having too much fun without me. what a bunch of comedians you all are. LOL it brought some joy to what has been a very ho-hum day for me. albeit, i had a good day as far as food and water goes.

                            it's been a looooonnnnnggggggggg day for me though. ended up having to work 12 hours today, and also volunteering for about 5 hours tomorrow too. there were about 10 people who volunteered for tomorrow, and we have been given monday off now since we said we would work the 4th of july. we should only be there 4 or 5 hours, 8 am til we get the work finished, but should be done by about 1 or atleast i hope so. it's supposed to rain here all day tomorrow, so any 4th of july celebrations are gonna get rained out anyways. i didn't really have anything planned for tomorrow, and get paid double time and a half, so i can't complain too much about it.

                            needless to say, i am too pooped to exercise tonight, so gonna go enter my fitday for the day, and get to bed, cause i'm exhausted.

                            hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of july and i will check in sometime tomorrow afternoon.

                              Dad's going on a business trip next week.. so far during vacation my mom and I have mostly been relying on him to cook stuff but now that he's gonna be gone we gotta learn to fend for ourselves, so tomorrow I'm gonna practice by making us all dinner -- I'll pick out some recipes tomorrow but I'm pretty excited about it..

                              And I am definitely getting enough protein -- we've been cooking up lots of fish and of course eggs.

                              Vanessa - I did hurt myself a little bit.. from now on I'm gonna stretch before working out and if I feel something starting to hurt I will stop and try another kind of exercise. I think I'll walk the track tomorrow if it's not rainy..

                                Evening all. Super late checkin today due to the fact that I got ordered to do a double shift. Anyhow I still feel great and waiting patiently to break the 40 pound loss mark. I'm so close so I am anticipating it now, big time. Happy 4th to everyone. Watch your fingers and learn and practice fireworks safety. The safest way is to let the professionals handle, you merely sit back and watch. Stay focused tomorrow, even though it is a holiday dont give you the OK to mess up your results none. If you have to cheat then cheat legally. We all know what we can and cant have. So let's do this.
