    Down a pound since last weigh in. I've been adding muscle, so weight is not my best measure right now. I like the not weighing every day. Will keep working on the program.

      Ive been watching the storm all night...my brother and his wife live just north of Houston and she is to deliver my niece any minute now. They are going to induce her on Monday so I am worried sick! I hope we can touch base with them later today at some point and hope they aren't flooded too badly but the images are pretty scary.

      We are supposed to only get some high winds and 3 inches of rain later today where I am.

      Hope you are ok mom2many!

      I weighed this am...wish I had waited...2 lb gain due to TOM in about a week...I make headway and here comes TOM...never fails. But I'm going to measure later today to see if it shows a difference there. Problem is I'm not sure if it's THAT for sure if if OWL Rung 1 is showing a problem. Hmm... probably TOM because my percentages have been showing good in Fitday. Right...that's probably it? Ladies?



      Anyway, I refuse to bash myself...this WOE is working for me regardless of 2 lbs.

      Oh and cucumbers dipped in diced tomatoes w green chiles and American cheese (homemade rotel) is the most DIVINE snack ever! Just a lil tip!

      I may wait until two more weeks to skip the crappy REAL TOM week. I'll decide then!

      Until then, check in when you can mom2many! Prayers are with you!

        Hmmm. Don't know if I will continue. I may give it another week.
        Over the last two days I have upped my steps back to 10,000 and increased stability ball and weights. I think that might have helped me to lose the 2 lbs. But honestly I don't want to spend 2-3 hours working out every day. I do have a life! When I was weighing everyday at least I could keep track and if I had a bad day I could target that day and avoid whatever it was that I ate. :-(

        no way should you give up or give in! it's very common to have a slow down and you lost 2 pounds. i think this is something to be happy about, not grumpy or disheartened.

          Ay-Yi-Yi!!! I can't believe how flippin' nuts this is... I'm on my way to bed... 11:55-ish pm (nut I don't know this yet)(oh, BTW, scale free 9/12!) - I resist the scales yet again, on my way to bed from the bathroom...TOM promising to visit overnight...

          In bed, I commend myself for resisting & suddenly out of nowhere I realize if it's after midnight, it's SATURDAY = OK to WEIGH!!!

          ...it is like 12:01 on the nose!!!

          How silly-there I go - bam - on the scale like nobody's business, ESPECIALLY mine, with TOM on the way... ROFL...

          So there's a nice 174 and it is sure to be less soon!!! Yeeha!!

            Sept. 13th Saturday Weigh in Report:
            No loss. No gain. I'm still 178.
            I'm really okay with that number with the wacky, crazy week I've had .

            Group hug and lots of for all of you in Texas.

            for all of you losers, inches and pounds.

            for those who gained or saw other things besides a weight loss. Keep going. Don't get discouraged. Stay focused on your goals---it's easy to say, hard to do, but worth the time and effort!

              yes, that is probably it, speaking of tom. it's very common, as you know, for ladies to have the fluctuations due to cycles. i'd sayd keep on plan with owl, continue to be excellent with fitday and see what changes come in another week.
              i'm proud of you fore sticking to your eating and fitday and letting that be your guide.

                    The scale was so happy to see me that it reported a 5 pound woosh since last weekend! Maybe this C25K jogging program is worthwhile after all...

                            Scale free all week!!!

                            Also happy to announce that I am down 3 lbs from last week even with TOM rearing his ugly head which makes me even happier at the thought that I could quite possibly weigh less then what the scale is telling me now do to water retention =)

                            Next week he will be gone and maybe a whooshie will be in his place. I am just excited that my clothes are getting loose again

                                Good morning, and thanks for all the good wishes and especially the prayers! South of me has been pummeled, but we are just now getting the beginnings of gusts. The situation is supposed to go downhill from here until the midafternoon. It is very dim outside for 9:30 am and I am so grateful I don't have to work today, I can stay home and listen for tornadoes with my family and not worry.

                                Oh.. this is the weigh challenge thread... I did go ahead and weigh, and am down to 221. That puts my loss to date at 21 pounds. I am starting to get compliments from my 16 year old... and that far outweighs any scale!

                                I had to remember to weigh.. not doing it everyday could become a habit!

                                On the good news front, this hurricane could have been much worse in Houston and the refinery areas and our oil/gas infrastructure should recover decently. Don't pay the price gouger prices, good grief the reports! there will be trucks rolling again soon.
