    What do you guys think about flax? Is it ok for everyday? Do you think I could have a flax muffin everyday? here is what I have been making them out of

    3t flax
    1tbs olive oil
    1 egg
    garlic powder
    italian seasoning

    These are sooo good, I slice them in half and eat like a sandwich, they are better than any true low carb bread I have ever tried...

      Hey I don't see a problem with that you may have to start weighing to see if you react with them. They make me bloated and stall me but, that's not true for everyonbe. I would say keep tabs on your weight and if you are all of a sudden gaining you may have to drop the flax.

      They sound sooo good What do you cook them in a frying pan. I have been dying for a sandwich MMM that would be soo good even if it stalled me.

        (the recipe called for 2.5tbs butter but I use 1tbs olive oil instead, the other way way too greasy)
        I take
        3tbs flax meal
        1 egg
        .5tsp baking powder
        1tbs olive oil
        garlic and italian seasonings to taste(or whatever you want to flavor it)

        I mix the egg and oil in a microwavable glass bowl add the rest of ingredients, let sit for 2 minutes and microwave for about 2 minutes,a little less( the bottom of mine turned out a little crunchy the first time)

        The original recipe called for splenda and cinnamon- I would prefer a slice of bread to a pastry...
        I let cool for just a minute then I cut it in half and use like two pieced of bread for a sandwich. I like it a lot! I was thinking of having it several times a week, but cleo told me flax should be waited on thill the nut rung.... I may just have them as an occaional treat

          I know people on here that as soon as they leave induction they add the flax it is also suggested when someone is constipated. SO long as you aren't going way over your carbs or anything I really don't see why you can't have this a couple times a week. It's extremely low in carbs and hey if it tastes good why not, this would also be a good thing for Christmas rather have that then a pastrey MMM.

            1 exam down, 1 more to go. Am about to go take my last exam of the semester, I'm sorry I havent' been around much or even here to read up on how you guys are doing. Next week will be better, did I mention I am going out of town on Wednesday. I am going home! To my true home, Hidalgo, the small town in Mexico where I was raised. Don't worry about the excercise Sarah, we will be doing lots of mountain climbing while we are there, so I'll be getting it in one way or another. I'm off to take my last exam, think good thoughts so I"ll do well.

                Wow yoly- that sounds great! I wanna go hiking soo bad!!! That is honestly one of teh MAIN reasons I wanna lose weight and be healthy!!! Good Luck on that last exam!!!

                  just finished my run my sis came over and was jaw dropped she could hardly belive how thin my legs are getting she is sooo awesomely supportive. By the time I am done I will have lost equivalent of my sister in weight she weighs about 120 so that's pretty damn Aweosme I am soo close now I can taste it and I really think that this running has made a huge difference in my lower body.

                  I was running today and really reflecting on my life and you know I always was a slacker I only did things half assed I never put my whole heart and soal into anything. And here I am totally dedicated to changing my life. Before I would have made excused to not exercise I would have given up when the weight didn't just fall off. I would have given up when I stalled. I am a totally new person, I am a fighter now, I don't give up I fight for what I want and damn it, I am gunna get it, I ahve made goals for myself something I never did. I never belived I could do anything that is until now. My lifes mission I think is to help people I wanna help people become in love with themselves, I want to help others achieve whatever they have set their mind to and I want to help others belive in themselves as much as I belive in them and myself.

                  What a wonderful day of reflection you have to love days like this when you realize not only have you come far Physically but, you have broken the mental bonds that held you to be fat.

                    OH, man I am sooo tired what is going on with me why am I so waisted could be cause I haven't been able to go outside this really sucks I hate that I am sooo tired. I could seriously sleep half the day away and not be sad about it LOL. This is nuts. I may have to start getting up earlier in the morning maybe I am sleeping too much I don't know. ANy of you feel really tired now that the weather sucks??

                    I had some kids shovel my sidewalk yesterday it was sooo darn cold and I had too many kids the 10 bucks was worth it and they did a great Job. I was really happy they stopped by my house and did that for me they were nice boys.

                    Any how I am supposed to be running today I feel so bagged my body is on hybernation mode. Now I know it's gunna be soo much harder to modivate myself now that it's winter. I should move to a sunny Island Paradise YA right HE HE HE.

                    Any how thought I better POP in here where is everyone Drill Seargeant Sarah is getting worried about her troops.

                      I agree, harder to stay motivated period in the winter, first off you are usually wearing more clothing, so more cover up! the weather sucks, makes me feel icky and not want to do anything!!! etc...... I haven't exercised yet today either, I may do a video later, I am not sure which one though. I am eating dinner and then I will do it because I am trying not to eat so late anymore!!! I am having a yummy cheesesteak with pepper, onion, mushrooms, a few pepperonies, and a couple tbs pizza sauce! SOOOOO YUMMY!

                        K I ran for 1 hour which was good I was gunna do my USUAL 9 miles hubby came home he got a new truck well I had to quickly get off and drive him back in to work get insurance da da da da da da LA LA LA, etc. I have to do everything I swear sometimes he is an invalid and can't do anything man if I wasn't around he wouldn't know how to do anything I swear. LOL

                        So any how tomorrow I am running further cause I have to make up a bit for today. I haven't eaten too much have been so busy so I am trying to make myself supper but, don't feel hungry at all. I will eat don't worry. It's weird I am usually starving lately I couldn't care less if I ate or not.

                            I was good today, I got up at around 6:45, I did Slim and 6pk, then Si6 Ramp it up, I worked out for about 52 minutes. Then I ate my quiche and went to work... I had. a fairly busy day at work, I ran to Wendy's and had bacon cheeseburgers minus the buns for lunch and a caesar side salad no croutons, of course! For dinner I came home and improvised a cauliflower bisque recipe for the amounts of things I had. It was pretty good. I think I will take it for lunch tomorrow along with a flax muffin sandwich and have soup and sandwich...
                            So far, and I believe I am done eating for the night, I have eaten 1665 calories, and according to fitday pc, I have burned 2943. I don't know how accurate it is but it still makes you feel good to see you are burning more than you are taking in


                            Sewing machine is doing ok, however, I haven't touched it since I have been home!!!!

                            How is everyone else doing???? *hears echos*
