    Morning, everyone...

    Okay.... my cookie fiasco is over and I'm ready to begin again.... (still with me Cher??.. )

    It's going to be a GOOD day, I've already got my water bottle filled with my first 32 ounces of water for the day.

        Yay Saty! No more computer troubles!

        I cannot wait to weigh myself on the 1st (the other challenge I'm in). If (or should I say will be) I am at goal....I will stay with this thread to maintain that weight until Halloween. K?

              See, that's what happened to me with the no weigh for 30 days challenge. It was only .5 and I had no reference by which to base the gain and I completely freaked out! I mean FREAKED OUT. And guess what....here I am, totally back to normal and plugging away day by day.

                I can't handle the no weighing thing. I am a control freak. Even though I've been gaining, at least I still feel like I'm doing something about it...exercise, eating right, drinking water, etc. I can see a problem and address it. If I can't see the problem, then I can't address it...and that's my problem.

                  I will complete the challenge, but don't think I'll do it again. I'm a control freak too, and the fact is, how can I control my weight without the scale? I may *try* not to weigh every day....okay maybe not 100 times a day.

                    I've gotten my weighing down to once a day, in the morning, naked...and I only count it on Tuesdays.

                      Sounds like a great plan Silly! You'll get treats for maintaining your weight week to week!!! Anything to get you to stay!

                      I don't know how you people do the no weighs. I tried but in reality I'm not addicted to the scale. I weigh once a day and try not to get too caught up if I gain.

                      You guys are heroes for keeping up with the no weigh!!!

                        I can't do the no-weigh thing either. I have really tried to do it for a week but I just can't. I have to see that number so I'll know what I need to do. It's too easy to let it get way out of control for me if I don't keep on it.

                        And you're right.... 100 times a day might be excessive.... I'll work on that too...

                          Ga'mornin everyone. Day 5 or 6 here I can't remember (darn short term memory) I've been challenged the past couple of days, but I have not caved in yet. Today I'm having greenbeans with parmegian and sun dried tomato's for brekky, then I'm going out for lunch to an Atkins friendly resturant. I will have the mini tip sirloin and a salad. Then dinner tonight is shrimp (I think I will scampi it) My tennant works in the fish / seafood side of the resturant industry and brings me nice gifts in gratitude. They really don't have to but I am not a **** with the rent.

                          Last night walking Tess at the Concert at the Park was a fiasco... Dumb little chihuahua in a pink tutu was off her leish and kept coming up to challenge my Tess. Can you believe it. If I did not have her restrained she would have gobbled that little bitty up. So I moved to another spot and other persons brought their dogs and were playing frisbee with them which got Tess barking. So I decided I could hear the music if I just walked her round the park. Last night was the last concert and it was the USSW Navy Band out of San Diego. I think they put on a great show. My da was a K-9 trainer during WWII behind lines in France. He and others handled the guard dogs for the POW camp tansports and also the dogs that did manuevers throughout the foxholes. So when they played the Army Song (When the Ksans keep marching along) I stood with my Tess so proudly, and she gave a great point stance.

                            Good Job Patty! I'm glad you are staying strong! Sounds like a good menu for the day. I bet you are going to be saying goodbye to some weight soon!

                                Saty, thanks for starting the challenge...and I'm glad you're back Yea for not cheating.

                                Thanks for taking in newbies. I know it's a lot of work keeping track of everyone, but it's fun to have so many friends who want to be Losers. I wanna be a loser.

                                My problem is not getting enough water. I need a cooler attached to my caboose so I'll drink it.

                                Since weighing isn't until next week for me...I'll cheer ya'll on! Rah rah ree...kick the pounds in the knee. Rah rah ras...kick the pounds in the...well, you know.
