    I was away at the in-laws on my usual weigh/measure day, so here are my totals. Notice the weight! I am finally in Onederland!! I'm pretty sure a choir of angels descended from heaven to sing my praises as I was looking down at the scale. (Of course the angels could have been a hallucination from the blood rush to my head from staring down at the scale while I hopped on and off of it for not less than 10 times....just to make sure it was reading correctly!)

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~START 07/04~~~~~~~TODAY 07/08~~~~~~TOTALS
          OWL question???
          I didn't know we couldn't have dairy on induction. I was already eating 5 oz of dairy a day. What do I do when I get to dairy rung? If i don't like beans etc....what do i do when i get to bean rung?
            You can always skip rungs, but skip in order!
              You can HAVE dairy on induction, only certain types. On induction, you are allowed 3-4 oz. of cheese (aged cheese and cream cheese) daily. In addition, 2 special category foods are considered dairy: heavy cream, and sour cream.
              On Rung 2, you are allowed to expand your dairy choices. New foods include yogurt, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, ricotta, farmer's cheese, goat cheese, queso fresco, milk, as well as larger servings of sour cream and heavy cream.
                      You know, I think I need to ease up on the greek yogurt, I've been having 1 cup daily since I started the challenge. Maybe dairy is stallng me. Effective today, no more greek yogurt for a while.
                      Liz, Kiss and Self - great job, you all better be very proud of yourselves!
                        Silly, good for you for "WORKING IT" and adjusting your plan. I am very fortunate that I cannot buy Greek yogurt within 5 hours of where I live--otherwise I'd probably be eating a cup of it a day, too!
                          You are lucky. Trader Joe's is about 1.5 miles away and they make the best greek yogurt! We'll see how this goes! Of course, it helps to have a broken refrigerator and no where to store goodies like yogurt
                            Ok...so as not to mislead anybody...
                            The results I posted earlier today are LAST WEEKS results. I noticed an error in adding up the inches so I wanted to repost a correct result.
                            I too will be weighing in and measuring tomorrow with the majority of us. So, we will see what happens for Wednesday July 18th.
                            K...Just wanted to clear that up in case there was any confusion.
                                okay... so I measured... results are less than stellar.
                                I gained a half inch around my NECK (for crying out loud!!!!) What is up with that...?
                                Only lost in the hips... 1 inch and R arm lost .5 inches while L arm only lost .25 inches... gained .5 in the waist... could it still be TOM???? Also lost .5 inches in R ankle... I'm loppsided now... I'm not counting that....Argh! only lost a total of .75 since July 4th... can't believe it! even though I lost 3 lbs... (keep telling myself that... I lost 3 lbs.... I lost 3 lbs... )Okay... will do over again tomorrow... feel alittle off at the moment... didn't eat breakfast made heavy delicious 'rice and chicken casserole' for lunch...very heavy on the cheeses and whipped cream and cream cheese. Not used to all that heaviness... (califlower was the rice) felt very decadent and feel I need more veggies now... for some reason want to eat the rest of casserole by myself now... lol. What? you really think I'd do that now? not gonna let a tape measure define my sense of wellbeing... or undo all the good I've gained... gonna make some broccoli now and drink some water and be HAPPY! Fat neck and all!
