Re: 2009 Staying Cheat Free Challenge

Oh, boy, it's a good thing that I signed up for this challenge yesterday. For some reason last night, I just wanted to eat a chocolate chip cookie in the worst way. I have cookies in the house because of my husband and son who, I feel, shouldn't feel deprived because of my new WOE. My son had asked for a cookie and it just smelled so good. I could imagine the taste and texture of it and then I remembered how I had signed up for this challenge, lol. How lame would that be if I had to admit to a cheat on the same day that I signed up. Today I am craving free, thank goodness, and I have been cheat free for 13 days

good for you Sookie -- I also have things in the house that I don't eat, but others in our home eat. That cookie has no power over you, just think of how many cookies you've eaten that have gotten you to this point.....that's what I think of when I am tempted. (Believe me I know it wasn't 1 or even 2 cookies....mine are more in the dozen or gross....which IS gross!!! LOL)

Ain't that the truth Carole! That's what I found myself saying that very same thing to myself! That and the fact that I had just started to lose weight and inches after a three week stall. I'm not messing that up for some cookie no matter how enticing it is trying to be. I kept imagining myself with cheek bones that are sculpted and free of fat and only one chin, shopping in any store I want and finding smart clothes that look good on me, having energy to do whatever I want and look good doing it. Yeah, I think I'm good now heh.

Day 14. I'll post only once a week or so (unless I cheat, of course ), because I keep forgetting to do it daily anyway.

3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.

                              OK, I’m in.

I’ve been down this road before. I don’t know why I have fallen off the wagon in the past. This WOE works & it’s not THAT HARD if I just stick with it.

I told myself I was going to start after the first of the year. I did. Then slipped. Then jumped back on again. Then had another little slip. So today is 4 days cheat free. Maybe being accountable here will help keep me from making stupid decisions.

And Congrats to all of you who have done so well and been cheat free! Keep up the great work!
