Now I must make these again. They are delicious jcapulet (first name Juliette by any chance?) I have pre-made taco meat in the freezer too. (Pre-made by myself - just thought I should clarify that.)
Kinda wish my name was Juliette ...my name is Lisa

I am guessing the taco seasonings from the store probably have sugar...do you have a homemade type of seasoning you use, or are the store packets ok?

I used the one from the store. Old El Paso I think. It was a while ago so I don't recall if it had sugar. I hope not! Or I might have used fajita seasoning - whichever had lowest carbs. I'm not an expert cook. Mog could probably tell you what she puts in hers.

I think Piggly Wiggly is a better one, but there is not one near me anymore!

here are the ingredients for that taco seasoning

Ingredients: comino, garlic, ground chili peppers, onion, oregano, salt.

Yeah, that's funny too. "I'm going to the Piggly Wiggly to get some chips, ice cream and soda." Doesn't sound like they would sell health food there. We don't have any funny names here. Well, they turned a 7-11 into a "Sak N Run". I always thought that sounded like they were asking to be robbed. lol They are not in business anymore.

They're building a Harris Teet one block from our apartment...sheesh I wish they would finish it, it's been MORE than a year!

There's a small Safeway downstairs from where I work, I hope they have it!
