Wow! How smart you are. Wish I would have read this post last night when I made tacos for my son and a taco salad for myself. Will have to try it real soon!

You are my HERO! lol. I don't know why I didn't think of that! I've been making little cheese "chips" like that here and there to snack on. This is just great. I Love tacos and have missed them and my mexican food (although I've found a lot of ways to make my favorite things low carb!) and I am so ready to go try this.

I love that this thread seems to have eternal life!

Either way, I have to chime in. I didn't think these would turn out nearly as well as they did. Mmmmm delicious.

Thanks for bumping it, Sadie....I was just thinking, I'm bored and need to find a new challenge to making creations to try to stay in the game and keep up with Barb and her amazing creations!

Thanks, MOG for taking the time back in November (who would of thunk you'd be so popular even today?)

I'm going to try this tonight I think, it looks great! I've fixed cheese like that and cut it in strips for dipping in sour cream. Never gave something like this a thought!

Thanks ladies! These are so easy to make but so hard to decribe how to make, I think the pictures just make it look as easy as it really is! I love these things, IMO they're better than the real taco shells!

OH MY - I made these on a glass plate in the microwave (4 mins on high)! EASIER than the stove! You do not have to turn the taco shell over either, you just have to let it cool a little and start picking it up with a spatula while it's still a little warm. Transfer it to a cold plate and shape.

I've tried that and it always sticks to the plate and burns in the middle, but that's great that it works for you! Super easy!
