    You can buy a little tool made for that or you can just use the egg shell 1/2's you slowly poor off the whites while keeping the yolk in the other half of the shell. It takes some patience and a little practice to do it with the egg shells. but the tool you can get probably only costs about a buck or a buck and 1/2 --its a little plastic gadget you can get at the grocery store in the cooking untensil aisle.

      Is there another kinda cheese I can subsitute for the edam cheese. I don't think I can buy that at my grocery store?

              I made these this weekend, and they are wonderful!! :yummy They're my breakfast this morning. I only had mozzerella cheese, so I made them with that. Still very good!!!

                  You could probably use just about any mild cheese:

                  Edam
                  Gouda
                  Provolone
                  Mozzarella

                  Even

                  Cheddar

                  It's all about how you want it to taste, really.

                  I'd even try it with the smoked variety of Provolone or Mozzarella for an experiment.

                    I´m not sure about those. They are too greasy .... I think the texture will change. And if they were fresh they wouldn´t mix well ....

                                Pau posted the ounces (although the ,'s should be .'s) so you should be able to guestimate pretty easily! 1 cup is 8 ounces and 1/2 cup is 4 etc.
