Burn it Up done, for 19 workouts total! Whoo, every minute of that sucked tonight. Just didn't have an ounce of strength in my legs. But I got through it.

Soliwit - Hang in there on the weight loss. I finally got a small whoosh (2 lbs), so maybe Biogeek is right that the pounds finally start moving with BIU. I've got a long way to go still, but as long as I see some inches or scale movement, my motivation stays okay. I have to travel on business next week, though, so we'll see what that does to me. Fortunately Si6 is portable.

Where is everyone? Hope all are okay.

Yay Anna for going over the halfwayhill !!!!
So you started BIU, I am a bit afraid of doing that, ain't I supposed to start that one in the 4th week?
I kinda feel that I am not yet strong enough, but maybe I am wrong and I should just try it.
Today is my 'day off' love it to bits !!!!
See you tomorrow for new report!

[edit] ok just read through the old posts to check on when to do what and it indeed says week 4, 5 & 6 BIU, so BURN it is tomorrow

            Hey all

I didn't disappear! Been crazy busy and the truth is I haven't worked out since Thursday. GAHHH!

I'll be reporting in in the morning with a workout. I'll likely do RIU tomorrow and maybe the day after before diving back into BIU. Oyyyyy!!!

            I've missed you guys!

I was wondering where folks went....glad to hear that everyone is doing fine!

Anna, I've taken Sin6 on vacation before. I normally don't use the bands during the workouts, but they're great when you're on the road since they're light. For me, inches lost is a lot better than a scale loss, but both are ideal.

Soliwit--good luck on starting BURN tomorrow. You're gonna FEEL it!!!! No joke!!

Brook--Glad to see you're still with us! We've missed you!

This morning's pain was RIU. Choose the "lighter" workout since I have water aerobics later this morning.

                OH...............MY..................GOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
                That woman is EVIL !!!!!!!!!!!
                I tell you !!!
But I survived and even hardly missed a beat, I was about to faint halfway though and I think with al that breathing my mouth gets so dry I would need more little breaks just to take a bit of water, but she doesn't give you time so I just had to bear with it and threw in as much water as I could when I was alowed to drink finally.
If THIS is not gonna work I don't know anymore, really this is HARD work, geeez (I'm kinda flabbergasted, can you tell, I am totally impressed by the fact I totally even did it till the end)
The only thing I had to kinda slack in was those stationary lunges, I just couldn't bent my knees deep enough anymore.
And I thought those a#*crampers in RIU were hard, that evil one that she adds is just, well what I said, evil !!!
Ok, I did it and live to tell, so see you guys tomorrow !!!

Wow! Soliwit if you made it through all of Burn on the first try you are completely awesome. It is such a hard routine. Last time, I was still modifying the lunges, even at the end of the 6 weeks!

I'm calling today a rest day. It's nearly 10 and I just got home from work, and my left knee is a little tender. BIU always does in my left knee. I've got to work on my form.

                    Night all.

                      Thanks for the compliments !!!!
At the moment I am very dedicated to this programm and since this is also kind of a 'punishment' for having fallen off the wagon (when was that again, oh yah just a month ago !!!!) I am trying to give it all, the more I think about it though, the more I am also impressed about the progress I am making and how I am able to do these hard exercises (didn't even realise it that much untill I read your messages Anna and Biogeek!)
I am afraid that this week it is me though chickening out on going to tai chi, because I already feel this soreness coming up, yikes ! I hoped I was passed that but indeed since with BIU you make totally new movements again........
Ok, so it will be in 2 weeks then (every other week both me and my husband have to get up too early for being able to attend that class) I won't forget to report when we go though !
Oh I forgot to say earlier that again this time instead of the stretching that is attached to BIU I did S&L, really don't like that yoga-stuff.
Have a wonderfull night and see you later tomorrow for reporting on my next work-out.
hugs for everyone (I feel GOOD)

Burn is a really great workout, but it is HARD!!! I have to be carefull with the ol' knees when doing the lunges. It does feel GREAT to finish burn!! Glad you're feelin' good!!!!!!

I like tai chi, but haven't done it in years. I think it'll be good to combine the two. The soreness will pass in a few days. I usually take some ibuprofen to help kick the pain.

This morning's pain was burn and S&L.

                          Devil Pixie....ROFL!!! That's a good one!

                          'Morning all!

Nice to see everyone's doing just AWESOME!!!

I've updated my siggy...keeping up with that woman and life is just, UGH!!! But it's all good...

My butt hurts, legs burn, and I'm sick of the scale not moving fast enough according to my calories burnt, but and however, at least it's moving and inches are going too.

I got into a pair of 16's that were, shall we say, *tight* and didn't have to lay on the bed to zip them up. Accomplishment #1! Woo hooo! LOL..

                          Anyways...

Hope everyone has a FANTASTIC Thursday!

                              Another one done !

I am not that sore after all, so we are going to do that tai chi class tonight.
I used to do tai chi for 6 years, but that is quite some time ago (had to stop because of a new job and that is about, hmm, 6 years ago already, that was when I still lived in the Netherlands)

I do indeed also have trouble with those lunges, for the rest it is all good, only sometimes miss a count when she doesn't warn early enough on changeovers.
I have to chuckle when she says 'focus on your hamstrings' when you are doing those darn a**crampers, it's hard to NOT focus on those dang hamstrings !!!
Also this time ended doing S&L

I think I like BIU better than SIU because of the kicking and punching that you have to do.
Oh and those funny things you have to do, those plie downward crunches, hahahaaaaa, my husband laughed his a** off when he saw those.

I moaned and cursed but I did it all the way, somehow it hurt more today, but I know that I will get over that, happened in SIU too.

                              Greets all !!!

RIU for me, because my knee's still a little tender. Boy, that's work. I feel like I'm not getting better at the same pace as last time, but it's hard to remember realistically.

Soliwit, I always skip the yoga as well. I either do SiL or my own version of those stretches fit into the 6 minute yoga section. I don't think the yoga's enough stretching, and it makes all the blood rush to my head, which is annoying after RIU or BIU.
