      goals... i will aim for running a mile a day to start...and will up the amount as i go.
      continue to drink more water...80 oz or more...
      no weighing..tough one...
      measurements weekly....
      take a multivitamin with no/low iron...

      happy carbing...atkins attack!

        Hey CDRAKE! Cool pics! WTG for getting th info in! Pam, thanks for helping CD with the info for uploading!

        Sorry I was out of commission yesterday, I get migraines and I had a doozie yesterday. Kind of still recovering. Only got 3 miles in today on my bike. I usually would do at least 5 so 3 kinda sucks. Oh well, things are progressing with the house. I'll let yah all know what is happening with it as it unfolds.

        As for the ratios in OWL, I haven't progressed to the point where I increase my carbs and lower my fat ratios as yet. I will lookm into it a little more, but thanks for the heads up pam!

        Welcome to all the new people who signed up for the challenge! It is going to be great! I myself an finding my exercise to be more intense now. The more I do the more I seem to be able to do...... yah know? It is fun.

        I have to go out for a bit..... BBL!

              Well, it would be good to have your measurements and weight from the morning of May 1st but if you do it the night before that would be ok. Just not a week before! That would give you a weeks worth of weightloss ahead of us all! LOL

              I'm excited too.... the countdown begins! tee hee heee heeeee!

                Hey ya'll. Just wanted to drop by. Been working so much and the kids playing baseball...ugh tired! But I can't wait till the 1st! I just bought a DVD of Billy Blanks off ebay. Got it today. Anyone tried? Im so out of shape lol I can see me now. But I will do it!! I hope TOM is gone by the 1st. That always makes the scales and tape measure...what you don't want to see. And makes me do crazy things too...I colored my hair again!! RED VIOLET! lol

                  Jennifer you can do it! I have the billy blanks tapes and they are HARD if you are out of shape like us tee hee. I never stuck with it, but I know its a kick a** workout!

                  Oh and yes I am so tired I don't know what to do with myself. Something is wrong with me. I can sleep for 20 hrs and still feel like I slept none. UGH! I think I need to see a dr. !
                  Its not induction flu because I was like this the last week and just restarted induction yesterday.

                      Hey this sounds really challenging......I'm in!! I think

                      I'm on Extended Induction, I have tried to use fitday but its not really straight forward for me at least, so i'll try and do my best with what i know but for this challenge - I'll try to keep

                      net carbs at 20grms & BMR to 1637 + 100
                      to exercise at least for 45 mins daily 4 to 5 days a week
                      to Measure not weigh my self ( NOW THIS IS HARD, hubby will have to hide scales cause i do not have the will power not to go on them for 6 weeks)
                      to drink 60 to 80 oz of water a day

                      am i missing anything out?

                      Tomorrow i'll post measurements and pics now i'm off to bed cause its 12:30am here and i need my Sleep to help me through my 6 week challenge.

                        Hi Janet! So nice to have you in the challenge. The only thing I think you are missing is your vitamins. Make sure you get these in! At least take a multi vitamin that has low iron. Drop by the vita nutrient forum for more info on vitamins to get all that you need.

                        So everyone, I don't know if it the stress, the house stuff or just gearing up for six weeks of hard core atkins, but I kind of have been off plan food wise this weekend. I have been great with exercise, but the food... ugh the food! Where did I go wrong. Was it the decission to add bread? I have recently tried moving up to rung 9 and have found cravings that I haven't had all along. Perhaps I am just not ready for bread and grains yet. Maybe I will just hang out on rung 8 for a while longer and see how it goes.

                        How is everyone else doing? Are you guys ready to get it going for the 1st? Getting excited? Yipeeee I am! Can't hardly wait!

                            Since I won't be able to get this in tomorrow, I have retaken all measurements (some changed becuase I changed the place I took them), and weighed myself.
                            My new weight and measurements are noted below in my siggy, and my starting pick is in the link in my siggy as well. Beware it is a scary one! LMAO!!

                              Drink a minimum of 80 oz water a day (10 x 8oz)

                                So little! I am so proud of you! WTG girl! i know it was hard for you to decide if you were going to post your pic or not but I think you should be proud! Not only are you very pretty, but you obviously are serious about this challenge. You can do it! And I LOVE the contract at the bottom of your siggy! WTG!

                                Everyone who will be posting pics over the next few days. Let me say I know that is a difficult thing to do, but you can do it! I know you have it in yah! No shame in being who you are right? You are who you are and you are a worth while person, and everyone here understands that we are all at different points in our journey. You are at this point right now, but in 6 weeks you will be amazed at how far you have come. Don't cheat yourself out of a before photo. Believe me, on this side of 58 lbs, a before photo is priceless. It will show you haw far you have come and where you never want to be again...... it will be nice to see you.
