    Looks like -7.25 inches this week and a total of 9.75 inches since May 1. I don't know what the scale would say cause I really don't "feel" lighter.
    I've fallen off the wagon the last couple of days.... not doing anything I should be doing, but did get alot of walking in on Saturday. I will be back on track on Monday, I promise.

    Hope all the moms out there are having an incredible day today.

      Heather, Pam, Babywoogie, so little... great job on all those inches!! You remind me that I forgot to measure this morning. Ooops! I'll do it tomorrow.

      Pam, that's great about the running this week -- you'll definitely be ready for that 5k!

      HG, always glad to help you out. Besides, I have to stay on your good side b/c you're a terror with that wet noodle... Hope everything goes well with your house. Sounds like you're doing everything you can to make it happen.

      Your sure right about that "next meal," thing. I think that has helped me be more successful on this WOE than anything else I've tried. When I have slipped, and believe me, I have (just check out today's journal entry...lol), I don't turn it into a binge. I do my damage quickly, then get right back to it. Once, I did go a little crazy for a couple of days, and I remember Joy (ValidRouge) saying to me... "I hope you gain." Of course, she wasn't being mean, but she wanted me to feel the consequences of my actions. (She got her wish.) While you feel relief at first for not gaining when you have a slip, it's probably the worst thing that can happen, b/c it makes it that much easier the next time...

      I haven't been the best AAer this weekend for sure. Haven't been tracking, not great on the water, ate a little white rice out to eat tonight... hmm, basically the only thing I've done right is take my vitamins, workout both days, and not weigh.

      Okay, I'd better scoot -- Jay is waiting up.

        LOL Adena! Go get the lovin your hubby has for you in appreciation for being such a great momma to his (and your) two babies! Just make sure there is no #3 on the way!! LOL Well, unless you want to have a #3?!?

        The get up right away and get back on track has been the BIGGEST tool I have developed in this WOL. Not the exercise, not the no scale thing and not even the water. These things will of course help you reach your goal and ensure health for the long run, but the emotional aspect of overeating can be catastropic in the weightloss realm when trigger eating is not addressed. For me this means fighting the entitlement bug and getting to the business of reaching my goal. Not always an easy task, but changing ones life is never really supposed to be all that easy is it?


        Well, I am off to check a few journals and get to bed for the first time befor 3 am in what feels like months! ( a few days maybe but when I am tired I exagerate!!)

            YEAH!!! I AM SOOO EXCITED!!!!

            I had a very excited experience this week!!!! I went shopping for the first time in a long time and guess what....I can't believe it still.....I went from a tight 20 to a size 14!!!! So you can imagine (since I was still wearing my 20's and 18's), what I looked like in those clothes--icky!!!! I am soo excited! You can't imagine...I was gleaming all over! I still am!! You could wipe the smile off my face!!!!

            Keep up the great work ladies!!!~

                Wow look at everyone and their inches lost! This is such a motivating challenge. I used to spend a lot of time looking at before/after pictures to get motivated, but this is way better, I think. All of us working together and getting results!

                I don't mind being your example, HG I was my example this weekend too! I was so happy with the results I've gotten so far and worried about having to take another week fixing any damage I might do if I ate badly this weekend, I was very careful to not slip even with Mother's Day.

                I guess I missed it - challenge within a challenge?

                The hips and butt are proving to be the hardest to lose. I expected that though - it's always the chest that goes first! Blah! After multiple gains and losses throughout my life, plus the three kids, they are like poor deflated water balloons! I did, however, meet my first mini-goal! The thing that I wanted most when I started Atkins, and everything after this is icing (or mayonnaise given that it's Atkins that did it for me!) I wanted back in my old pre-pregnancy jeans! I have several wonderful size 8 jeans I haven't worn in almost 3 years because as soon as I got pregnant, I gained more in my hips than anywhere else! I was able to wear my favorite pair comfortably yesterday! I'm thrilled! So now I feel so much less pressure to lose quickly because that was what I wanted the most, now the rest can come as it will (not that I'm going to quit working, but I don't feel so rushed because nothing fits right!)

                  Thats awesome pam!
                  I have a pair of Abercrombie denim capris that are my goal to get into. They are a size 12, but Abercrombie runs supermodel sizes, so I think they are more like a size 10. Last time I did Atkins, they were literally falling off me, and I was so siked!! Now I can't get them past my thighs again.

                  Its ok, I know I'll wear them again, and be swimming in them!!

                    Thank you! You will be in those capris in no time, Kim! My thighs are ALWAYS my issue. I could actually get them on a couple of weeks ago because I've lost pretty well in my waist, but I believe the seems might've split if I'd sat down. Let me tell ya, I had that happen at my job a few months ago, before I started Atkins - that's SO embarrassing! I had taken these pants in after I lost some with WW's, then I gained it right back in no time because I just had the hardest time with the program, so had them taken back out. So as I gained even more weight, the pants got tighter even after being taken out and split when I bent over to file something! THAT is when I tried Atkins!!! God bless this program because I love it and something is finally working!

                        My boobs are really shrinking, too... like pratically deflating. The slightly wrinkled soft skin when I'm laying on my back is NOT pretty. I've never even considered a boob job in my life, but now, I have to admit I wouldn't mind a little firmness/lift back. That is one body part that doesn't bounce back, no matter how much exercise you do!

                        Congrats you guys, on all your inches! HG, your challenge participants are literally shrinking away....! I'm skipping measurements this week as I feel really bloated, I'll do it on Saturday morning.

                          Hey everyone

                          Adena, I had this happen (have lost 6 inches from my bust) and the skin issue was not very pretty, and I thought I was stuck with it, but lately it seems like the skin is firming up, though I don't think it will get back to totally normal, but near enough. BF even noticed, so I know it's not all in my mind...

                          Today:
                          Exercise: 45 mins done
                          Water and vits: done
                          Food: 44g carbs, 1885 cals, 68% fat, 11% carbs, 21% protein
                          Is that it? Feeling I've forgotten something!

                            Hi everyone I wanted to check in say that I have lost 8.5 inches which is giving me a total of 11.5 inches and I'm loving it!!! It has been hard but I'm hanging in thier I will post my pic today. I took more pic just to see how I look for 2 weeks and my face is getting really small. Good job to all and keep up the good work!!!

                              OMG!~! I am sooo getting a boob job as a reward for my success...under 1 condition, once I get to my goal weight I have to maintain it for at least 1 year!!

                              Right now I wear a 40G! So, after my success (very optimistic) I will 'become' a full C! Lift and Chop them babies off!!! I have already lost inches off of them but more has got to go!~

                                I'm with you! I'm a G cup too and I am going for a reduction as well!!!

                                I've not been checking in with this challenge like I should - I've been feeling kinda blah about it for some reason. I had gotten lazy with my eating and things really start to slide when that happens.
