I have a reebok RS-I I bought with Power 90 and I never really use it. I think I've worn it 5 times total. When I get my garmin after OHR I won't need it at all. If you want it; it's yours.

It's a watch for running that has GPS for distance and a heart rate monitor laps etc. It's really pricey but I need one for marathon training since I like to change routes A LOT, want to run trails and stay accurate.

Yes, Liv... you hold it in your hand. Although, I run with a fanny pack to hold my keys, cell phone, and mp3 player, so I might just clip it onto that.

Finally got a run in today! That means I had 7 days off between runs. And of course, my lap counter wasn't delivered until after I got back home from the run, but that's OK.

Thankfully, I was able to make it the full 3 miles. It did take me a little longer to finish it than it usually does. I've been doing it in about 33 minutes, 30 seconds. Today it took me 36 minutes. I felt good, though.

2 different perspectives I can choose from:

            1) It took me more time than it ever has to run 3 miles.

            2) Today I ran the longest amount of time I ever have!

I'll choose the latter. And who knows? Maybe I got my lap count mixed up, and ran an extra lap.

That is really good especially since you didn't run all week. I just ran 3 miles in just under 38 minutes! There were two hills but they were super small so I really have no excuse for 12 minute miles. You are amazing!

The run went well and I feel a lot stronger going up the steeper side of the hill by my house. There is a step created by the center island that makes the right side of the road steeper and longer than the left. I have been trying to switch sides to get extra strength. It seems to be working. I got a little tired and ran just under 38 minutes instead of the 41 I wanted. I do my long run tomorrow though and I had several runs that ran over this week. I would love a lap counter... h*ll I would love to know how long the track is by my house. I am super slow on the road and really curious if I would be faster on the track. I don't like to run on the track too much but man, when my feet hurt that track is a blessing. I can't imagine having an indoor track in the winter. You are so lucky Mitzie.

LOL... want to hear the funny part? Once winter comes in my neck of the woods, I will be running more outside in the neighborhood than inside at the track. Summers are about 9 months long here, and winter will be prime time to run outdoors. I don't even own a real coat... it just rarely gets that cold here. Maybe for a day or two when a front passes through, but it usually fizzles out quickly.

And be assured, Quo - you WILL run faster at the track. No doubt about it. I don't have ANY elements or trials to overcome when running indoors.

I am sure that you run one extra lap there Mitzi. It was all because that cool little gadget arrived too late.

Nice to hear about your run Quo. Sounds like your shape is improving every week

I will appreciate the inside track when winter comes. It is snowy and horribly cold here some days. But I like to run outdoors. I felt a little bit like a hamster on that track.

I was a little bit apprehensive for my long run this week. I still remember last week's being a bit hard. So it was slow going in the beginning. But sure feels great now that it is done.
Funny today because my route took me right into a race that was going on. Thankfully they were 16 kilometers into it and fairly spread out by the time I mingled in. I was running in the opposite direction though. Good thing, that ways was not tricked into competing with them. (As if )

OMG, I had better update now or I won't tomorrow. I had a date today for a hike and was sort of too nervous to run or do P90 first. So we hiked 2.5 miles straight uphill (They actual have a trail run on that trail that is known for trashing elite runners) and then the 2.5 miles of quad killing down hill.It took hours and... it was amazing; I never could have made it up that hill before and I outlasted him and he does crazy workouts (rock climbing, cardio boxing, weights and an ounce of fat on him etc etc etc). So I get home on cloud 9 after telling him I still had to run and do P90 Sculpt. He laughed and assumed I wouldn't do it but I was so happy I floated through the run. My longest mileage ever 3.7 miles and some change for 41 minute. I got home and went right into P90 Sculpt and did every exercise except the dive bombers. and now I am drinking my protein shake trying not to puke! I must have burned a thousand calories today! So I am taking some advil, crawling into the tub with some bath salts and praying I can move in the morning.

Boy you rock. Way to be. A hill climbing date. Sounds exciting.
Hope tomorrow is nice to you. Get some stretching in after the bath.

Protein shake. I love those. And sometimes the best thing about that long weekend run is that I can have one.

liv, I stretched pretty hard and just soaked in the tub for an hour or so before bed and woke up pretty mobile. He's taking me to his rock climbing gym next friday so I've got to make sure to do my run and P90 in the morning or I may not survive. Are you ready for week 7!

                          Hi, Liv and Quo

Poo... I've been off my game lately... in a crappy mood and sick of food. And it didn't help (but explains a few things) that TOM is paying me a visit... just 3 weeks after the last visit.

I've also been doing Induction since Monday of last week, so that adds to my fatigue has well. I think it's why I'm so sick of basic Atkins food. I was going to stay at Rung 1 while adding more carbs until I got back down to 120, but I just don't think I can do it. Blah! I hate when I get like this.

I will be running tomorrow, though!

Goodness Mitzie! Why did you go back to induction when you are so close to goal? I couldn't even begin to run on induction; it would just wipe me out. I hope you start feeling like your spry self soon. *tosses some veggies and berries at you*

Quo, I had been able to maintain at 120 for a few months at the beginning of the year. In April of this year, I started struggling with trigger foods and the blues from not being able to eat what I thought I would be able to in Maintenance. (I strated a thread about this in the OWL forum called ~*~Back to Basics~*~) As of Monday of last week, I had gotten back up to 130 and was on a slippery slope. I had tried tightening up, without going back to Induction, a few times... but I couldn't get mysef turned around. So as a last resort, I went back to Induction last week. It sucked. I'm not doing that anymore. I did lose 4 pounds to get back down to 126, but then TOM came, and now I've got the doctor today... I'm just going back to eating in Maintenance for now.

In fact, since TOM is SO heavy today, and I'm feeling wiped, I'm not driving to the track today. I have an appointment at 2:00 this afternoon for an ultrasound on my uterus (found in my annual exam last week that it's enlarged; doc suspects fibroids). I have a consult appointment at 3:10 with him to discuss the results.

                              It's always something.

oh, Mitzie that is horrible. My mom had huge heavy fibroid tumors and I really hope your ultrasound comes out okay. It's funny, induction keeps me on track. I honestly don't think I could do it again. You are far stronger than I.
