      Yet another done.
I did it later in the day and it was warmer. I wish I had wore my shorts. Did my usual loop.

Good job Mitzi. I found week four hard to deal with because of the shifting intervals. I had to write them down on my hand before I left.

I was feeling like I needed top push myself and I needed toilet paper so I ran to the store again. The long slow grade felt a lot more comfortable this time and I ran very smoothly even on the down hill. Some small aches and pains annoyed me but I can't get new running shoes for another month or so. These are great shoes but not the best on hills. After picking up the toilet paper I walked back for my cool down. The half hour walk back was way worse than the 28 minutes to the store. I feel great and can't believe next week I am done! Just can't believe it. I decided on the run to redo my post C25K plan with times instead of mileage so I don't have to think too hard. I'll pick up a distance unit in September but for now I am just figuring out the time equivalents. I can't wait to start Can you believe how far we have come? So many people start the C25K and never finish and we are almost there and Mitzi is right behind us. Way to go!

Only one week left. I felt really good after this run. I did it earlier so it was not too hot. It was just very gorgeous out. I love all the flowering bushes and trees around this time of year. Did my loop and will add some to it next week. I am so ready for a bit longer run

Good work quo. Did you have pushing and toilet paper in the same sentence there?

My leg was bugging me yesterday so I skipped. Luckily I run 4 days a week so I'll run today and still be on target for week 9.

Last nights run went well but I did have some minor aches and pains. I am sure part of that is the slope of the rode I run on since all the streets here are crowned. But I think I also need shoes with better cushioning, these were fine at first but as the runs get longer I realize they just aren't quite right. Unfortunately money is tight so I'm gonna have to suffer through it and watch my running carefully.

Week nine and I am actually running 5K. Who would have thought. I liked the run. I cannot believe how good it feels after. So worth it.

Sorry about your pains there quo. I hope it is better today. You train pretty hard these days. My shoes are nike downshifters. Not very advanced at all but all I could afford first round of running. I like them quite a bit though.

I had a great run too. It was super windy tonight and a head wind most of the way. I felt like I was flying! great run, low irritation. I do need new shoes but being careful about which part of the road I run on helps. Though some idiot honked at me from behind and scared the daylights out of me instead of just driving around me since there was 1 and a half lanes waiting to be driven on!! Okay, if my bike didn't make me get agro with suv drivers running sure has.

Great job on your first run of your last week quo. Wonderful that it felt good. Silly drivers. I have put up my loop avoided roads as much as possible.

Ran my second run of week 2. It was nice. I love the little bit of chill in the morning air.
I think I decided to try a program called one hour runner OHR once I've done this week. It looked relaxing enough for me and yet I'll keep on running on it. I also will listen to my body and how I feel will kind of be my guidance. Eventually I hope to be able to run 2 hours before snow comes.

Wow, OHR sounds perfect!!!!! I need to be able to run an hour several times a week by september and that program looks much easier than trying to work out the milage myself. I'll totally do OHR with you!

                          Hi, Quo and Liv

Sorry that I have been a little scarce...

Sounds like you 2 are doing great!

                          Here's my report from yesterday:

                          THURSDAY, JUNE 5TH

                          - D3, W5, C25K (indoor track - sweet!)

                          Brisk 5 minute warmup walk
                          Jogged 22 minutes, 45 seconds (2 miles)
                          Walked 20 minutes
                          Total distance covered: 4 miles

It has been easier for me to keep up with time intervals than distance intervals when I run in my neighborhood. So although I know how much total distance I cover when I run in the neighborhood, I don't keep up with the distance of each interval that I run. I have a really neat little timer that I am able to hold in my hand to time my intervals. Since this particular session today only had 1 interval to keep up with (20 minutes or 2 miles) and I was running on the indoor track, I was able to count the laps while running and found that when I had completed 20 minutes, I was just a little over a lap shy of the 2 mile mark, so I went for it. Piece of cake!

Way to go Mitzi. Congratulations on finishing your first longer interval. It sure feels good, doesn't it.
I really do not have any idea how long I run, I only measure time. But sometimes I think it would be cool to know. I guess in the winter I will be running on indoor tracks and I will be able to find out.

Took a few days rest here and it went very well.

It is great that you will do the OHR too quo. We can keep a tab on each other here as usual then.

I made a C25K sticker for myself that I will place in my sig.

This is my second running day I've missed. I'm having a real hard time with motivation and I think it's my job or being two days short of finishing the C25K. I need a pep talk guys! I'm emotionally exhausted and I missed P90 today as well. I need to nip this in the bud and I'm not sure how.
