Re: Australia
hey by the way I don't know if anyone else has found this but ... at coles they sell "Queen brand maple flavoured syrup" this stuff is completely sugar free and sweetened with sucralose ( splenda ). I made induction legal pancakes this morning and put a dob of butter and a slurp of this syrup. I couldn't tell the difference from the real stuff...it was a tasty change from eggs for breakfast.
Any way if anyone is having a need for something decadantly sweet try this recipe with a drizzle of the queen brand sugar free maple syrup and a good knob of butter.
PANCAKES
in a desert size bowl beat together
2 eggs
2Tablespoons psyllum husks
2 Tablespoons cream
1/2 teas vanilla extract
1 teaspoon splenda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
mix it all together and dump into a hot ( not too hot or it will burn) skillet that has melted butter in it. Spread it out to the size of a dinner plate (or do in 2 smaller batches so it isn't too thick). cook till golden on one side then flip.
toss onto plate and serve with desired topping.
I assume that this could also be made into a savory wrap of sorts if you omited the vanilla and sweetener.
If anyone has any other recipe's that are Australian friendly I would appreciate it posted... some of the recipes on here look great but I cant find the ingredients over here.
