    just checking in

    I will get some form of exercise in today. I have a lot of house work to do. I may take my dog to the park for some training. It is pretty cold outside, but it may warm up later.

    I didn't get all of my water in yesterday. I had about 80 oz of water and then some diet gingerale. I have only had about 16 oz so far today so I need to kick it up. I will shoot for my usual 120 oz

    I have a nasty cold- I am hoping doesn't turn into the flue.

      It is Sunday morning here. It's 11 a.m. and I have already done an hour of weightlifting (this seems to be the hardest thing to get motivated with and I used to LOVE it more than anything) and have 40 ounces of water already. My weight stayed at 238 but I can see it wants to go down soon. I ate lamb yesterday and beef and lamb always delay a loss for a day or so.

        I am checking in again. I did everything that I needed to do yesterday. It was very productive.... Unbelievably so.... I am not feeling good. Today is my club dog training day and I will get plenty if exercise for about 3-4 hours. I plan on drinking 120 oz of water. Yesterday I was close I had about 100 oz and thena couple of diet cokes at dinner followed by a drink last night. Gin & diet gingerale. Needless to say I was up all night using the bathroom. Soda makes me pee.

        Chinadoll- Great job on the weights. I need to start weight training again. I like the way I feel when I have finished, I sleep great, and best of all it helps take away the saggy arm skin and adds shape to the muscles that forgot they were needed.

          Julie, I used to lift three times a week but I have had a hard time getting motivated since the autumn. I think it is because it is so hot here. I do pilates twice a week, walk four miles at least 4 times a week and will be starting water aerobics 3 times a week, but the weights change my body more than anything. Nothing makes me smile as much as when I see the definition in my shoulder coming back. Unfortunately that's the only place I can see it. The rest of me is too well cushioned to expose how toned I really am. LOL

            I know exactly what you mean. Mine always shows in my neck/shoulders/arms & upper back first.

            Now that my knee and back are feeling a lot better I am sick with the flue the next 6-7 weeks are tough for me. My schedule is crazy but I will figure it out.

            Yesterday I did a lot. My body was sore but still felt good. I am feeling stronger every day. I managed all of my water again. Today I will shoot for 120 oz again. I am down about 40 oz so far.

            I will play wii at lunch. I will be glued to my desk all day so I will need a break. My daughter is home sick (I think she is faking it but she could be getting this flue.... I thought I got it from her but maybe I got it from sone one else????).

              Just came back from the gym, 263!!!!! down 1lb since last Wednesday. Cool!!!!

              I did 23 floors on stepper and 1 mile on treadmill.

                Checking in!

                I reached my water goals everyday so far and I've been staying on plan. I'm not seeing any weight loss though. I think it's mainly due to hormones (it's almost time for TOM to visit!) and a bit of stress. I just feel so BLAH and bloated lately!

                  Julie, I can see one-derland is just around the corner for you. That's so exciting! I notice when everyone gets close to that mark because that will be the biggest goal of all for me. Maybe even bigger than final goal in some ways.

                    Okie Dokie... here goes. Well I have been getting my 100 oz of water in every single day during this challenge! I have been exercising, not as much as I originally planned but I guess every little bit helps because I am down another 3.5 pounds this week! That puts me down 10.5 pounds since this wonderful challenge started!!! WOO HOO!! We are doing great! Everyone keep up the good work!!

                      Hi everyone,

                      It's been a few days since I checked in here. Water intake has been good. Exercise has been ok - but not as planned AND I fell off hard regarding food for 2 days. It happened because I hadn't lost any weight and did everything right. So, I'm not going to weigh myself until the end of the challenge on April 12th. Hopefully that will prevent me from reacting negatively to the scale reading.

                      Have a good day all. Back to the gym at 3:00 today. I need to get more done everyday so I'm moving my exercise time to later in the day and I'll see how that goes for the next 2 weeks.

                        Just got back from the gym, I wanted to change things up a little so I stayed on the stepper for 25 minutes...56 floors!!!!! Yhaaaaaa Me!

                          Hello all, I've been M.I.A. for a bit. Sorry about that. I had some personal issues going on that kind of drained my energy.

                          Despite that, I did manage to keep my food in check, but didn't always exercise or have all of my water. I was also having my TOM.

                          I'm back! So, yesterday I had 2.5 L of water and did a 20 minute walk. That's all I could do. I wasn't feeling so good last night.

                          Today: I'm aiming for 2.5L water and 30 minutes of working out in some form. Still not feeling 100%.

                            I just got back from the gym, I did not really break a sweat today, 5 miles on the bike, that's it. I wasn't really in the mood today but went because I should and because I did not go yesterday.

                              Just checking in again! I just got back from the gym, that makes four days this week! I'm soooo proud of myself. If I could only get it up to 5x for 2 weeks!

                              I stayed on the stepper for the full 30 minutes...67 floors! Increased my floors by 11!
