Re: Weigh? No Way! Challenge #8

Oh it's just a week? Do we post our weight? I can do this...I think. Maybe I will step on it 100X tomorrow to get sick of it.

actually, the challenge is for 2 weeks but you get to weigh on sundays

you don't need to post your weight if you don't want to. some will, some won't. i would recommend making note of it somewhere though so you know if you had a loss, stayed the same or heaven forbid a gain.

First Sunday (21 March) weigh in at 97.4kg = 214.28 lbs

I start to trust my way of eating now, so I am pretty sure I can stay off the scale for a week.

Re: Weigh? No Way! Challenge #8

First weight 149.2 - that just stinks. I keep faltering. I think one reason IS that I weigh every day. If I have numbers that I am not happy with, then I mess up my thinking and question this WOE.

This has GOT to be good for me. No more weighing for one week.
                149.8/no weigh/ 119

                1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
what the rungs mean to me:
                rung 1 - more veggies
rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
                rung 4 - berries, melon
                rung 5 - wine -
                rung 6 - beans, hummus
                rung 7 - other fruits
rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
                Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
                (on to pre-maintenance)

138.0 This morning, yes I know that is more than my listed current weight. That is my body. I gain after a loss and then I lose again.

No worries, lets see if I can stay off until next Sunday.

Ok, today Sunday March 21 I weighed myself for the first time since Wednesday (my regular "offical" weigh day) and have lost 2lbs. I feel great and so far feel strong about not stepping on that scale until next Sunday.

Hi Didi, I am so glad to hear I am not the only who has gains after significant losses. I will start to worry after 12 days of no drop. 12 days has been the most I have paused without a loss thus far.

I weighed in at 189.6 for the third week in a row. My body, however is sporting less and less plump around the middle. Can I measure myself everyday instead of weighing myself? Or is that a cheat?

did i miss you signing up in this challenge, farley? if so, i do apologize and have added you to the list challengers.

as for measuring, you can do that and you know it's a recommendation for this woe but i'm not sure that measuring every day is going to show differences. how about measuring once a week?

and in the long run............... this is a no scale challenge. tell me you are scale free for the week, monday thru saturday, and all's good in my world
