      so far as the award is concerned, you won't be able to earn it but keep in the challenge and see how you do with the rest of the time

          No weighing this morning. The wii fit is grunting at me about the body test but I have resisted. I feel smaller and lighter this morning and it is really hard not to weigh but I haven't. Maybe I will go load up on some water so I bloat and wont want to weigh because I know I'll be heavy lol.

          130- Met 3/21/10
          129- So I can say I am in the 120s- Met 3/29/10 128.7lbs yay

            Tuesday March 23 no weigh. Was tempted today to step on that scale but did not.

              I do my morning routine in my family room, except for my stair-stepping - that's in another room, with the scale - I did not get on it this morning, but I really need to get it out of site!! Scale free!

                  This is the craziest hardest thing I have ever done. Liberating, but WOW. I have that feeling, too, like, "How do I know how I did yesterday"? I know that isn't logical because I have sabotaged myself too many times thinking that way.

                  In any case, HUGE success as I did not weigh. I looked at it for a LONG time, then I thought about having to post here. For some reason, I cannot lie to you all! What on Earth would be the point of that?!

                  So, one more day down...
                  149.8/no weigh/ 119



                  1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
                  what the rungs mean to me:
                  rung 1 - more veggies
                  rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
                  rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
                  rung 4 - berries, melon
                  rung 5 - wine -
                  rung 6 - beans, hummus
                  rung 7 - other fruits
                  rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
                  rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
                  Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
                  (on to pre-maintenance)

                    Hello all!

                    Got up ... went into restroom ... looked at scale ... stared at scale ... turned around and brushed my teeth.

                    Went into bedroom ... put on pair of jeans I haven't worn in a few days ... THEY'RE BAGGY!!

                    OH, THE TEMPTATION OF WANTING TO STEP ON THAT SCALE AND SEE WHAT MY PROGRESS HAS BEEN!!!! But, I didn't!!!

                    Now, on to the next day ...

                      The funny thing. I usually weigh myself once every week to 2 weeks. Now that I promised not to weigh I want to weigh.

                          i've seen quite a few challengers use the word 'liberating' while doing these challenges. i just think it's great that we can learn to read our bodies a bit better and not have to depend on the scale to tell us what we are doing right or wrong.

                            as for me, i posted this morning but now at the end of the day, i'll state that i was scale free for the entire day. not even sure i was in the same room where the scale is at.

                                It is Wednesday morning for me already and I am scale free again!! Yes, to me this is liberating and a REAL funny thought occurred to me this morning. Something unexpected if you will. If I am not weighing every day to see if I lose weight, then hmm... maybe this is just the way I eat, my way of life, not my "DIET". I *thought* I knew that, but maybe I didn't. huh
