    Wednesday morning 24 March. I did not weigh myself, but I talked about it with my DH last night and this morning. Instead he took my waist measurements this morning which was somewhat lower than 2 days ago. But that number could be in the error range.
    Actually, on the other hand I don't want to weigh, because the longer I wait the bigger the chance of a lower scale number, right?

    I feel a bit insecure right now.

    Mini goals:
    - 92kg = 202.86 lbs: will get very nice shirt from my DH:

    - 87.7kg not obese anymore:

    - 79.2kg not on the heavy side anymore:

    - 73.4kg not lightly overweight anymore:


    Currently:
    -Climbing the Scafell Pike in England, 6180 steps.
    Done: 867 steps
    -President's challenge

      1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
      what the rungs mean to me:
      rung 1 - more veggies
      rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
      rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
      rung 4 - berries, melon
      rung 5 - wine -
      rung 6 - beans, hummus
      rung 7 - other fruits
      rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
      rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
      Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
      (on to pre-maintenance)

            This is day 3 & I have not steppped on the scale, this is the longest I have gone without my scale. I am very proud of it but I have a feeling there won't be a difference or even a gain so I am not looking forward to Sunday.

                          what a day i've had. busy busy and won't be here but for a minutes. i wanted to tell you that i'm proud of the way y'all are staying scale free, keeping the course, keeping commited.

                            not only are you staying scale free but you're really looking after what you are eating. i do hope that the reward at the end of this challenge is not just the trinket you earn but with a pleasing number on the scale.

                              i want to address something that i keep forgetting to put in the first post. the subject always comes up though so i'll just take care of it now.


                              if you have a doctors appointment scheduled during the challenge, you will be 'forgiven' for weighing that day. it's happened to me in almost all the no scale challenges since i have to see my 2 oncologists every 3 months and every 6 months. i've asked to not be weighed but that doesn't fly with either doctor. they weigh and i look away and ask not to be told what the scale showed.

                              i do have a check up with my radiology oncologist on friday. i've asked them before if we could bypass the weighing but they said 'no'. they have to make sure i am not gaining or losing any significant amount of weight which could alert them to any more cancer or radiation problems.

                                I didn't weigh today! Not as bad as I thought, but man I'm ready to see what it says on Sunday.
