    Thursday morning here already and I did not weigh. This morning I am sorely tempted.

    I am also starting to think ahead a bit for after the challenge. Going up through the OWL rungs ( I am rung 5) is really hard when you weigh every day. It is too difficult to judge what a particular food does for you during the weeks weigh in if you don't have an official date. Another reason!!
    149.8/no weigh/ 119



    1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
    what the rungs mean to me:
    rung 1 - more veggies
    rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
    rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
    rung 4 - berries, melon
    rung 5 - wine -
    rung 6 - beans, hummus
    rung 7 - other fruits
    rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
    rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
    Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
    (on to pre-maintenance)

      March 25, no weighing!
      Lol, I couldn't even weigh if I wanted to. Yesterday evening the scale had suddenly disappeared. My DH claims to know nothing about it. It must have been stolen! Hope the thief will bring it back before Sunday....

            I weighed. I was so worried about Sunday i brought out the scale this morning. Still 138.00 What do I do? Will I be shunned from the challenge or should I come back and try to do this when you start over?
            I see the positive I did go 4 days. That is a record for me.

              too early to weigh, no desire to weigh. however, i will report again at the close of the day.

              ingrid, what dh you have! it's sad to say that a mess of our family members don't really pay attention to our weight loss journey but your dh is doing more than paying attention.... he's taking an active role to help you!

              jaxmama, no you won't shunned. if you want to continue with us, on the same schedule you are more than welcome. you won't be able to earn the award but you can proud that you went so many days without depending on the scale.

                      It really is starting to get tough, Aprile. I had no idea I felt so strongly about this weighing thing. Like, I just need to know. It seems to be my validation that I am doing everything right. (or wrong!)

                        I know when I joined this challenge I'm like pfft a week no weighing I can do that. Heck I go more than a week sometimes. But now that I can't weigh it makes me want to weigh lol.

                          i was sooooo like you april. i remember my first days of atkins and i remember weighing ALOT! i realize now what i was doing to myself. it was really making me crazy because i was not allowing for those fluctuations that we all know happens.
                          what i would like to see from this challenge is that members weigh maybe a couple times a week and allow for those things that cause fluctuations.

                          just think............. you got friday, you got saturday and then you can weigh!

                              Here! Late, but here!!

                              Been ultra busy with work and this was the first chance I had to check in.

                              Once again, that darn scale tormented me ... but I didn't give in to its temptations. My house is so tiny (built in 1924) with only one bathroom, so I seriously have no place to hide the darn thing ... so, I have to stare at it every morning.

                              BUT, I seem to be winning!!

                                I am bloated, and feel like I am going to go crazy not knowing what my bloated weight is! I just about stepped on the scale tonight, it's driving me that batty. Success tho, for today. Tomorrow I hope for more success.
