    25 pounds in 2 months is awesome

    I'm on track, working my challenges, and getting lots of exercise. Still haven't kept up to my personal Skier challenge, but have added lots of walking and spent about 4 hours raking leaves and doing major yard work today before the next storms...




    Daily Goal: NO Cheating !! Take Vitamins and Calcium/Magnesium every single day
    Weight: NO gain this month. (but of course I'd love to loose)
    Diet: Need to start moving through my rungs, at least OWL 3 by the end of the month
    Water: in Challenge for 100oz daily
    Exercise: Minimum every other day.... ~Complete ABS, Squats, Push-up, and Stability Ball challenges... ~ Use Cross Country Skier (nordic track) at least 3x's weekly...
    Planning: Bringing an ice chest with me for snacks, even if going down the road (just in case)
    Taking care of me: Not allow others to guilt me into a schedule... in spite of the holidays. Get at least 7 1/2 hours of sleep nightly.
    Reward: No idea what to choose here...
    MAY 2010 Challenges
    ABS-1200, Squats-1200, Lunges-400, PushUps-700, Stability Ball-250 mins,
    I weigh once a week, Mondays !

      holiday is over - bad foods gone! Focus, focus, focus!
      1. Weight in the 220's the 'majority' of the month - 16/24 ** will weigh on 31st
      2. Take my supplements [almost] every day - 15/29
      3. Journal [fitday] at least 5 days/week - 12/29
      4. Lose 5 inches [will measure on 1/1/2010]

        Tuesday -- better than Monday...much better than last week!!! LOL

        3 miles on the treadmill this afternoon, 8% incline 3.5 mph 51.13 for time. Finished watching Season 2 of Biggest Loser last night so I just listened to music today on the treadmill.....may start Season 3 tonight...LOL!

        Food - good, much better planning today! Having pumpkin desert w/cream for my desert again tonight.

        Supplements and prescription meds on track.

        Water on track.

        Keep saying I'm going to weigh on the 1st so that is still the plan....my rings are looser today so I'm hoping for good news when I do get on the scale.

        Congrats on your 25 pounds Loving!! Way to work the plan! Sounds like everyone else is doing real well!!

          Doing better than I was.
          Made it through yesterday with no cheats. Today, my only "cheat" was a couple of bites of potato at dinner. Not really a "cheat" due to my rungs but I was trying to keep my carbs down for a few days. I kept up my water and vitamins.

          Did my exercise (30 min of Wii..Active which I haven't done in a while). Tried the Wii Yoga program again. I feel bad because it was a gift (that I asked for!) but I really don't like it.

          For "me" time...listening to music and playing on the computer.

            Feeling good, hopefully the scales/measuring tape will agree tomorrow!

              December 31
              Weight: No scales until i see the doctor early next yr but I am losing size...which was a nice affirmation

              Diet: Christmas was a brezze...NYE we're doing a roast lamb and vegies...andn the rest of the xmas cheesecake that had been frozen with a raspberry cream

              Water: Doing the water challenge so between 65-70oz a day...on hotter days up to 80-90

              Supplements: Um Im actually feeling really good so Im not taking any right now...Im keeping a close eye on myself and if I dont feel 100% I shall start again

              Exercise: Um Ive started setting the alarm for 5am when its still cool in the morning...felt so good today me and puppy did 3 hills...walking in the evening still...as soon the silly season is over Im off to mfind a pool...I need my knees to do what they used to be able to...knell lol

              Planning:Its getting easier by the day...it is a way of life and once you do it...it becomes 2nd nature

              Taking care of me: New underwear feels GREATER than carbs taste!!!!!

              Other: My stste of mind is stable...I guess as my blood sugar is also....

                December 30th:
                Weight: Well I just did my mid-week weighin and noticed it will be my last for 2009. I weighed 158.3 this morning so my bloat is offically gone from chistmas . I haven't gone to the bathroom yet so this number is probably wrong. I didn't make my weight goal but that is ok. I am pretty sure I lost at least an inch from my waist at its smallest point. About a month ago it was 83cm and today it was 80cm. Not sure on the inches.
                Diet: With my brother gone it has been more easy to feed everyone. Our family friend is also doing better, though he is still here almost everyday wanting food he is helping out to get it. Last night we ordered pizza and he paid for more then half. He counted pennies but he wanted pizza. The pizza sucked so it wsn't worth the money but we all had a good laugh.
                Water: Still going stong.
                Supplements: I have cut back on my bread just alittle so it last longer. I have had about 2 servings a day with my sugar free, 100% natural strawberry jam. Yum
                Exercise: Yeah, it hasn't changed since my brother left :P. I thought I would have alot more free time but I don't. I am still cleaning up after him when he isn't here and now my boyfriend is back on vacation and demanding attention.
                Planning: Going to get the stuff for New Years today when my boyfriend gets back from his doctors appointment.
                Taking care of me: I have realized that over the past couple of months I have been pretty stressed. I never notice it at the time but when it passes I am like "Wow!". I have a feeling this is one reason I haven't lost any weight in months. With my stomach problems, brother moving in then getting him self fired, my poor kitty, my boyfriends sanity...the list just piles up. Well this morning I woke up and I had that wow factor. I feel so much better. My stomach issues are practically gone, My kitty is doing great (he got is appetite back! He has gained 0.3lbs since last week!), my boyfriend was finally diagnosed with Adult ADD and is getting help for it (no meds yet but they will come...this does scare me) Though my brother is gone only for a few days I know one day we will move and he will not come. I am letting the rest go so that I can go clean into the new year.
                Other: I didn't make my weight goal but I recieved so much more this month. I am still getting my hair done, so by my birthday I will have a new do.

                I probably won't be around until after new years when things quiet down so if you don't see me HAPPY NEW YEAR!

                  Wow there is only one day left of this challenge. Anyone have any cool plans for it?
                  I just had family over and had fun so I am thinking tomorrow is quit quiet.
                  I have over snacked the last few days. I need to reign it it but I am doing fine. Have done some running and yoga and worked on my quiet spot. I'll do some lifting tomorrow and see if I can complete some of my challenges this month.

                    Hi everyone -- one more day and the year is over plus the challenge is over....thanks Liv for hosting this great challenge!!

                    Food: Overate a little today but should be ok
                    Supplements: took prescription meds late today but at least I took them!
                    Exercise: a little cardio this afternoon - should have done more .... >slacker<
                    Water: always good!

                    I don't think I'll made my weight goal - I said I wanted to get in the 170's but unless I cut a leg or arm off I'm pretty sure I'm right at the door and am knocking but no one is opening it up!

                      "WE CAN DO THIS THING!"



                      Tomorrow is New Year's EVE---I am very happy that I weigh less than this time last year, feel better, look better, am more active, and feel so much better emotionally.

                      Supplements: Doing OK.

                      Weight: Weigh in is Monday. As you know I have not been losing---Decided to measure a few spots, since it has been 5 weeks since last measure…my largest area—stomach/AKA “the lost waistline”---Lost 1”since last time. YEA!!!!!

                      Water:Continue my 96 ounces per day
                      .

                      Exercise: Get out to the club more often, and exercise at home more.

                      I am going to change things a little. More Exercise and changing the exercise, and I am going to start rung 1 soon.

                      New Year’s EVE/Day. I am picking my Mom up in the AM from the city, and bringing her out to stay overnight with me in the burbs. I am glad she agreed. I didn’t want her to spend New Years alone in front of the TV so soon after my Dad passed away. We are going out for a nice dinner to a place that knows me and my dietary needs and they have been very helpful with that. They have a great atmosphere as well. I am going to take her around seeing some of the nice sights out here, some farms, old, old houses, and just play it by ear. Friday am I will make radish fries for her with breakfast. Hope she likes them.
                      We are just going to try to find fun things to do. That will be a great way for both of us to bring in the New Year! (I will be missing my DH since he is still working out of town.)

                        Not happy this am with the scale...but I believe I succeeded for the most part. If nothing else, it helped me realize where I need to focus.

                        1. Weight in the 220's the 'majority' of the month - 16/31
                        2. Take my supplements [almost] every day - 17/31
                        3. Journal [fitday] at least 5 days/week - 14/31
                        4. Lose 5 inches - I was down 6" on the 26th, so staying with that - obviously the measuring tape was not working with me this morning.

                          Less then 2 hours left until the new year. I am drinking spritzers (white wine and diet 7up) and watching fire works. We are going to go walk around soon. Happy New Year all!

                            Just puttering around today.
                            Have done ok with eating..not great but i did manage to stop myself a few times and kept my coffee intake at a reasonable amount. Water has been fine.
                            Did exercise..Wii Active. I usually prefer Wii Fit but Active is more of a workout for me so I am giving it more of an effort.

                            Quiet evening at home..we don't do anything for New Years.

                                This is what I pledged at the first of the month...

                                1. Get into the 170's this month!
                                2. 2 mile minimum on the treadmill each time I get on.
                                3. Add an exercise video back into my routine this month.
                                4. Spend some "alone" time each week.

                                This is what I did this month:

                                1. did NOT make 170's -- this morning I was 181...close but no cigar
                                2. I am doing 3 miles on the treadmill 5 - 6 days a week
                                3. I did videos a couple times this month but I wasn't enthused about it
                                4. I spent some alone time .... most of the time I was doing my exercises during that time but it was definately alone....I have also been watching shows I want to watch when I go to bed at night and enjoying the time away from everyone (selfish I know...)

                                I would give myself a C if I were being graded this month....I should have been stricter with my food - I would have gotten there if I would have.
