The mural is a mixture of paint and decals..we are looking to add some birds and more bunnies. I love it-gives the room lots of character.

I am in too! Wow my neighbor are gonna love the Erin they see in June.
I have a huge yard that needs tons of work.
1 Weeding the 60 privacy hedges surrounding the house
2 laying the mulch that has been in my shed since march
        3 deweeding the lawn
4 cut the grass ( which I never have to do)
        5 paint the basement stairs
6 touch up purple painted wall in my living room
I fell like my list is long but some of these have been on my to do list since we bought the house like 3 years ago!!! OMG!

Msmichelle... good to hear you're so motivated! And... I feel for you, carrying a baby up and down stairs. Glad my two (21 and 19) are too big for that now!

            • get my flower gardens organized...weeded, borders fixed where needed, soil added, plants planted.
            • paint the fence
            • paint spare room
            • declutter sewing room, which has now become a depository for any and all junk/clutter.
            • make mowing the front lawn my job so hubby only has to do the back.
            • help hubby apply the driveway sealer.
            • clean out entire fridge every 2 weeks. I love a clean fridge!
Good for you Morning Glory; I think you're the first to start! And welcome to the Double Whammy! Put you down on my list too... along with your long list of chores!

Apple... I've put your extra chores down!

Jimmie... Love the new pic! Looking very good indeed, gal! As for your list: Wow! Are you sure there's enough on it???
It's wonderful that it seems to be getting others to extend theirs! And, I think I'm gonna have to add to mine too, even though I've only got the first ten days of the month (well ok, also a few days at the end too). You put us to shame!

I'm wondering about your iron stake. What on earth could that have been for? Did the previous tenant indulge in pole dancing perhaps? For the benefit of whom? The alcoholic, or the preacher??? (j/k)

Michelle... tks for posting the pics! Cool. Looking forward to the "afters"!

Ok...so its about time I joined some challenges, so this is my first one.

                  I pledge to:

                  1. Mow the front and back lawn on a weekly or twice weekly basis, depending on how fast it wants to grow.
                  2. Weed all flower beds in the back and front yard.
                  3. Plant my annuals.
                  4. Wash the outside and inside of my windows (at least on the first floor).
                  5. Tidy up the garage.
                  6. Clean out the fridge every two weeks.
                  7. Go through my clothes and donate those I don't wear to the charity.
                  8. Re-mud, sand, prime and wallpaper the spare bedroom (with help from my brother and sister-in-law).

I would like to get several bike rides in on the bike trails around the city too weather permitting.

Re: JUNE - CHORES & EXERCISE Double Whammy Challenge

sal, some of those things are going to be easier than others. although....
i tried to get the iron stake out of the ground this afternoon and for all my might, it's still in the ground. i think it might be concreted in. if thats the case, that baby is getting cut off below ground and dirt thrown back in the hole i've dug. as long as i don't have to see the stupid thing in the yard, it's fine by me.

now the purpose of the stake? i don't know. it's normally used for wire fencing when you want to do a cheap job of fencing but there are no other stakes. one thought i have is they used it to tie up a dog or it served as a very poor imitation clothesline pole. remember, i said there was only one clothesline pole and this stake, although in a very bad spot and way too short, still could be used in a pinch for the clothesline. who knows. i just want it gone. pole dancing.... lol

i got some rocks piled up for the hasta bed. these are small beds and some rocks were already there. now the little rock border is just a bit higher and looks much better. i suppose i could call that chore done.

bought some weed killer today so i can get on that little project soon.

Good for you Sweet Strudel, joining your first challenge. This is a good one to start with I think, being sort of a halfway mark to traditional exercise routines. Looks like you too have your work cut out for you! I'm wondering what re-mudding wallpaper means?
