    MIX IT UP AND COOL IT OFF, DONE 1/29/06!

    So I was thinking about my favorite routines today. I think this how they sort out for me:

    Love: Shape it Up, Mix it Up, Cool it Off
    Sorta love, sorta hate: Tear it Up and Tone it Up
    Mostly hate: Firm it Up

    Anyone else have favorites and least favorites from the set?

      I'm still so uncoordinated with this set of workouts! Seems like this is taking longer to get the moves down than SI6 did. I know it will come in time, but it's frustrating !

        Hi all you vidiots!!

        I have been absent for quite a while now....(*hanging head*)...I've been really really bad about keeping up on my exercises. So, I decided that I'm going to drop out of this challenge and pop back in for the next one.

        But never fear...I AM getting my rear in gear and will get back to my videos in the a.m. a minimum of 5 days a week...

        Good luck with the challenge and I'll catch you all at the next one!

          Bridget.. I'm in the same boat. Been a slug most of this week. I'm rededicating myself starting tomorrow. Hopefully this week won't be as busy as last week. Sheesh, I didn't have time for anything!! Slug me for Thurs 26th - Sun 29th.

              Monday, Jan 30, Start It Up (Can you believe my hamstrings are still sore today? I walked one mile with my DH & doggie yesterday and I could still really feel it when we would go up the small hills/inclines.)

                    Like: Cool, Ramp, abs
                    Hate: Start and Keep it up ( I know I should like this one, but I don't for some reason).


                    HW=250+/222/GW=175 37F/5'7
                    Revamped my WOL starting 2/10/08.

                      I really think Debbie Siebers, the Pixie of Pain is responsible for a lot of my success. Then there's Wanna....eyes like a hawk-Wanna. She doesn't miss a thing in BC!

                          I didn't think about the Si6 routines. Burn, Ramp, Start and limber are all in the love category for me. Si6p I like, but I prefer the abs portion of Ramp it Up and Firm it Up (I actually really like the pelvic tilts and abs from Firm, so maybe it shouldn't be in the mostly hate category?).

                          I don't have keep it up, so I don't know about that one. The reviews on video fitness weren't all that enthusiastic, though.

                            If I were to rate Beach body video sets....

                            Love: Debbie Siebers Slim in 6 and Slim Series (Love her + hate her = Devil Pixie), P90X (good lord it's hard workout, I've actually only done the yoga workout. I was SWEATING from it! I've watched the others & am too chicken to try them out yet. Also, Tony is goofying around here like on P90), Power Half Hour (some good moves here...quick & effective)

                            Like: P90 (the original....only in the like category because I find the aerobics too easy. Perhaps if I had started with P90 and THEN gone on to Sin6, I would feel differently. I like the weight workout though). Turbo Jam (I'm actually frustrated with this set....I love the music, and I like cardio party, but I'm too clumsy too keep up and then I feel like I'm not getting a very good workout because of that. grrr)

                            Hate: nothing in particular

                            Yet to be rated b/c they're "in the mail." : P90 Master Series, and YBB.

                              Hey, I just noticed that I'm 1/4 through the challenge already.

                              However, it looks that some of you are already through HALF the challenge!!

                              Woo Hoo!! Keep up the good work!!

                              Anyone notice any difference in their clothing yet? I feel like I'm moving a little better and a little more limber.
