    Congrats on the 3.7 pounds Kathie!! That's awesome!

        Just got back from our 3 day camping trip, it was a blast, and there was MUCH very hard hiking done, even if at a slow pace.

        Going by distance and 3mph hiking speed, add 300 minutes of exercise for me for the last 3 days, putting me at 990/4500

        I won't be on the scale again until next sunday.

            Week #2: 390 minutes of exercise
            adds up to total 740 / 2880 minutes

            weight loss: 0 pounds (however I've been loosing inches)

              This week I did 120 minutes of exercise bringing my total to
              330/2000 minutes.

              I also lost 2 lbs this week bringing that total to
              231/224/199
              25 lbs to go =)
              Hoping to be @ 180 lbs
              By our 1 year anniversary =)

                45 minutes on the Elliptical this AM.
                40 year old male 6' 3"

                What I know:
                1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
                2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
                3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
                4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

                    Just stoping in to give my stats for the week. 0 lbs loss this week, but I did 300 minutes of excercise. So overall lbs lost is 1 and total exercise minutes is 555.

                              This past weekend, I tried out a Zumba class they offer at our municipal gym. (It's a Latin/Salsa/Jamaican/Celtic/World music aerobics/dance class) It was SO fun! I didn't follow all the steps (partly because I'm not a graceful dancer, and partly because my body just wasn't going to move that fast), but I kept moving and made up some of my own steps. I can't wait until next Saturday morning!

                              With all the muscles that hurt afterwards, Zumba once a week is enough for now!
