    Checking in.

    water- yesterday about 2.5 liters- todays goal 3 liters

    exercise- yesterday 5 rounds of wii boxing and 2 baseball games (about 40 minutes) and a 30 minute walk in the park with fluffy butt. Here is proof. I took this with my blackberry. Todays goal is the same 45 minutes of wii sports and another trip to the park for Havok.

      Yesterday was my weekly weigh in and I lost 2.5 lbs!!!

        what has two thumbs and has already had 100 oz of water today? THIS GUY!

        seriously, I just drained my 64-oz pitcher that I drink at work, and had 36 oz at home this morning.

        my chest hurts from coughing, so I don't know about exercise today. yeesh. this is getting old, fast.

          Sorry I haven't been around these last few days - busy, busy, busy and trying to make everything fit into 24 hours!!

          I haven't been very good with my exercising.
          But I will say that I'm suffering from sore muscles from painting all weekend! I can totally feel the pain in my inner thigh. Tomorrow I'm planning on walking from work to the train - 1 hour.

          Water intake has been horrible! Right now I think I'm drinking about 60oz of water a day. I definitely need to up that!!

          And worst of all... and I don't know how this happened... I've gained 2 lbs
          I'm on plan (no deviations)... I'm in ketosis... argh!
          I have some ideas... talked about them in roll call.

          So... Tuesday's are my weigh-in day = log me at 212

            Hi everyone! Sorry for not checking in since this challenge began. I've had a terrible February! I ended up going to the ER on the 26th and staying there for 12 hours!!!! I got poked and prodded and went through a bunch of testing after going in there for kidney and abdominal pain. They thought I had kidney stones, but turns out I had a massive kidney infection. I was in way too much pain to work out for a few days and ended up going off plan for one day (12 hrs in the ER, no food or drink due to the testing... only place open was McD's), but I'm back to normal now and back on plan!

            Here are the goals I managed to meet from Feb. 28th up to now:

            Week 1 Goal
            at least 101 oz. water
            4 days of exercise (90 min. total - 45 elliptical, 45 weight training)

            Weight loss goal - 2 lbs.


            Feb. 28th - Water: 101 oz., no exercise
            Mar. 1st - Water: 101 oz., no exercise
            Mar. 2nd - Water: 101 oz., exercise:45 minutes elliptical, 45 minutes weight training
            Mar. 3rd - Water: 127 oz., no exercise

              Julie, I met my water goal today of 100 oz. I still owe two more exercise sessions, and I have a 45 minute spin class set up for tomorrow morning. No pounds yet, but there's plenty of time.

                  Today's Report: Good!
                  Water: 2.5 liters which is .5 more than my goal.
                  Exercise: 30 minutes total w/ 20 minutes on the Rebounder and 10 min. toning including
                  50 crunches and 20 sit ups. 2 out of 5 days for the week done.

                    Met my water yesterday and today. Weights this afternoon. Not weighing in for two full weeks! So far today has been a good one!

                      I am glad to hear that you are all doing well.

                      Yesterday I managed 2 liters of water. Today's goal is 3 liters (again). I have finished 36 oz so far.

                      Yesterday I did not do the wii. I did almost 2 hours of moderate walking. Today will be wii for 1 hour. My arms are still sore from the day before. I also spied the wii fit at Target finally $89 for it-I will get it tomorrow (pay day).

                      I did go to the park with my dog and discovered he is getting kennel cough in the process. My other dog was fine until late last night. Now they are both sick. Several of my friends found out that their dogs are sick as well. They must have picked it up at the dog daycare that we train at in the winter. So basically my dogs have a cold. That means I need to try and get them into the vet today.

                      Tonight I am taking my family and a couple of kids to the AFC (fights). We have never done anything like this and are looking forward to it. My daughter and hubby love to watch the UFC on TV so this will be a treat. I need to plan dinner so we eat before we leave. I will take a big purse with bottles of water and something to munch on should I get the munchies.

                        well, so far, so good! water has been perfect, exercise not so much, thanks to the plague. grrrrr.

                        I weighed in at 206 yesterday! I'm taking that and running, TOM is looming (with what feels like water retension) and I don't want to wait for THAT to weigh-in. ha!

                          Water: started measuring; intake 1.5 l so far
                          Exercise: 1 hour walk run as planned
                          Food: on-plan (last night had 1/4 cup black beans - too many carbs there for induction; still in ketosis)

                              Checking in: Had 2.5 liters of water yesterday and met my goal, but no workout. I took the night off after an all day headache. I still have the rest of this week to fit in 3 more days of workouts.

                              Today: Water 2 liters + 40 minute workout (rebounding + toning w/ 20 push ups and 50 crunches)

                              Trying to get in the habit of either doing my workout early in the morning or before dinner time. Instead I've been doing it pretty late. ...I guess anytime is better than no time.

                                Hi everyone,

                                Water: mid-day so only 750 ml so far
                                Exercise: 1 hour weights (arms); 40 min walk run as planned
                                Food: mid-day but ok.

                                Happy to be back here with you all. I'm looking forward to weighing myself on Sunday. Day 14 of induction. Regardless, I've worked hard this week. Went to the gym twice when I really didn't feel like it. Then when I was there I pushed myself to complete things when I really didn't feel like it. So, I'm happy about that.

                                Simone: I just wanted to pick up on your comment about going to the gym in the mornings. I'm a pretty busy - well very busy person (aren't we all) and the only time that works for me is the morning. It's done and over with - otherwise the whole day you are shuffling things around trying to find that time and of course there are so many other competing priorities - then I feel 'squeezed' and often just toss it out the window. By the way, sometimes that means I do my workout at the end of a 24 hour shift with no sleep or instead of sleep or waking up from my sweet sleep. Yes, I love sleep. So, you can do it. Why not try it for 1 week and see how it goes? You can do anything for one week. I HATE it when I have to force myself - but after about 5 minutes I'm ok with it. It's that hurdle I have to make it over.
