    I started on Sunday 7/20, so today is day 4 for me. I am starting to feel sick when I think of eating another egg for breakfast...has anyone else had this happen to them? I would love to have a buddy or two to get through the ins and outs of low carb eating. I have been doing very well except for the queezy feeling about eggs.

      Good eve' Buds!!

      Nasty lightning and thunder storms here..but went to Walmart and bought a bike rack for the truck--going to take my bike into the office and ride it for my lunch hour! dinner I made Broccoli soup and pork chops--
      learned to make fish burgers for DD.

      Elsie--not doing induction huh? not even a little itty bit? LOL
      you know best! if you can breeze thru the pork rinds then this is small potatoes! NOW ---for your punishment---
      90 0z water a day!

      fried, boiled eggs---I tried quiche, omelets, deviled eggs--but the secret was OOPSIE'S ! french toast, sandwiches, so much use for these!

        hey buddies!!! hope all is well. i had a pretty good day today, but for the fact that i was WAY off in getting my veggies in. gonna have to work on that. usually i do pretty well, and by the end of the day i can usually manage to get them all in. i don't really know what happened, other than just poor planning i guess. we had steaks for dinner tonight, but it never even dawned on me to fix any veggies.

        i am getting kinda worried that i will not reach my goals for all of my exercise challenges this month. i'm really trying hard to complete them all, but i think i may have set too high goals to feasibly reach them all. next month i think i'm gonna have to either set lower more obtainable goals, or drop a couple of challenges. earlier in the month i read a sticky on the exercise challenge forum that getting involved in too many challenges could become overwhelming, and i am now finding out that to be the case. i was just so syked about getting out there and moving, that i let myself join too many challenges. i'm not gonna give up though, even if i don't reach every goal i set, i know i've put in the time and effort and am better for it.

        today is the first time i've really felt negative about anything since restarting this wol. with the debacle from not really getting many veggies in to the whole exercise goals i'm afraid i won't reach, i just feel like i've let myself down. i just gotta tell myself that tomorrow will be better, and know that it truly will be if i want it bad enough.

        sorry to be a downer tonight!! hope you all had a great day today and an even better one tomorrow.

          Welcome Suzette! Who said you HAD to have eggs for breakfast?? Try the oopsie rolls in the thread Bill mentioned that is in the induction forum. Then use them to have an openfaced sandwich or a closed one. How about a BLT oopsie roll sandwich? The quiches are good. Freeze them in individual servings and pull out as needed. Left overs are good.

          Bill...where did you find my whip?? Here I thought I misplaced it and you took it!! Drank my water today and had two salads..among other legal stuff. BTW there were pork rinds here but between us we didn't finish the bag.

          Monie....do not be so hard on yourself!! You really are doing great!! Sometimes life gets in the way. It will time and again. The point is is that you are moving...and you plan to keep moving. You are not using the excuse that you may not make it as a reason to quit. You are still trying. That attitude is what makes you a winner!!! Make your goal to get half way on all of them. If you reach that then try for 3/4's complete. Learn the lesson and limit yourself next month. Two months ago would you have really been upset that you ONLY did 465 push-ups, 1160 abs, 350 squats and 75 on the stability ball in 3 weeks?? Look how far you have come to changing your life!!!

            here I am ready to cut my throat because I still can't stop thinking about pecan pie!!

            ok--you may not make it--but what a way to not make it!! what your accomplishing already is awesome--and your going to get better and better--

              thanks for the pep talk Elsie, that's exactly what i needed. also, thanks for posting my stats, you made me realize i hadn't updated my siggy for a couple days....LOL you are so right about my feelings and what they would have been 2 months ago. i would a been like "a pushup??? i haven't done one of those since high school!!!!" i've got all the math figured up on what i have to do until the end of the month to reach my goals, i've managed to get most down to a reasonable qty per day. if i make them all, then good for me, and even if i don't make one or two or even any of them, good for me. atleast i gave it my best shot.

              time to go to bed, gotta get my rest if i'm gonna get these goals accomplished..hehehe

                ok bill who said i actually did a hula hoop? ok, so i bought one and tried to do a hula hoop, haven't actually aquired the knack for it yet, but it's getting a little easier now to bend over and pick it up off the floor!!!!

                i feel much better about things now, thanks to your's and Elsie's pep talks.

                      Hello Buddiesssssssss

                      I hope you all had a fantabulous Wednesday! My day was ok.. guess what I did? LOL Even though I went to bed at almost 6:30AM, I set my alarm for 8:30AM.. got up and made my breaky! Yeah me.. then had a lil nap afterwords till lunch time

                      I got 8 flights in tonight for my challenge, but my water intake for today wasn't great. I'm just finishing what will be 64oz.. got that sucks!

                      Ohh my.. I'm so nervous about tomorrow.

                      Well I was going to touch base with each of you, but I'm really exhausted I'm sorry. I'll come find you guys/gals tomorrow I promise.

                          Good morning to each and everyone of you! Welcome to the new buddies!

                          Bill~ The words pecan pie are not allowed in here! Oh how I love pecan pie!

                          Maharisa~ I love your cacoon (sp?)pic...so funny and clever.

                          So I actually broke out my walking tapes DVD's that I bought about 2 months ago. I made it through 2 miles. I am so proud. But I tell ya what. If anyone ever doubts that walking tapes will make you sweat...oh lordy-b you are wrong. I didnt think that these would work but I was sweating like a pig in the Georgia sun! I have 1,2,3,4 miles but I just made it to the 2 mile mark. I have exercised everyday this week and I am so proud of myself. I am taking my son over to his firends house tonight and his mom and I are going for about a 40 min walk while the kids ride their bikes with us. I should actually start working being I have been here an hour and really havent done anything productive. I will be back!

                            Sassy...good for you for getting up and getting brekkie. The start of a schedule for you to eat your meals by. The exercise will help with the sleeping too I imagine.

                            Bill and Andie....keep climbing...I am pretty sure I saw a legal pecan pie recipe...

                            Andie...Good on you girl for the walking tapes!!! And please don't say 'I JUST made it to the 2 mile mark.' That is awesome for your first time!!!! Why do you think they make a 1 mile one...because some people have to work up to doing that one. And you already blew right past it. Exercising does help a persons moods. You deserve to be proud of yourself. Also kudos for finding a buddy there to walk with!!!

                            I am still soo tired. I hope I get caught up soon as I do not have the energy for anything. Today is swimming lessons for the kids and then driving DS's best friend home. He lives about 1 1/2-2 hours away. We have had him since the 13th. He misses his mommy. So little water for me today. SIGH!

                              Hi everyone. I would like to join the buddy list. I am a nurse, and my husband is in Iraq for the 3rd time-he left 7 weeks ago. We are stationed in Germany, and I am not working right now. My husband has been in the Army for 23 years, and he will retire a year after he gets back from Iraq. I have been overweight for almost 9 years now. I want to look good for myself and for my husband when he gets back. I don't have any children. I do have 2 cute dogs. They are my fur babies. Since I'm not working, I have too much time on my hands, so I think dieting and working out will keep me occupied. I am 100% committed to this. I am on the computer a lot during the day. If anyone ever needs some support, feel free to message me. Most likely, I will message you back quickly. Words that would describe me are; competitive, funny, open minded, friendly, cold in my reactions when my feelings get hurt, reserved in person until I get to know someone well. I hope we can be buddies!!!
