    Where can I find the "rules" of this Challenge? I post my menu every day on my journal, should I post it here too?

      you can- It started out being certain things, however, no we all kinda have our own rules for the challenge....
      it was
      I- strict induction
      C- no cream
      E-exercise
      S- no scale

      I weigh most daily now, but I don't think anyone else here does..... You will do great! Everyone here is soooooo supportive!!!!

        wAY TO GO rIKKI. that's execllent you got your exercise done for today.

        I am really stressing my body upping the milage this week EEEk my legs are very stiff well my whole body is telling me to go to he double hockey sticks. LOL I will be running today not too sure when gotta mellow out forst for a bit then I'll be going down and running my little but off. Man my legs are getting really tight which ROCKS.

        Hey Apex, you can find the rules for the challenge on the first post it basically is a no CHEATING cahllenge, and we also stress exercise, We want you to be the best you can be and eveyone who has been on this challenge and followed the rules has lost pound and inches so if you are stuck what ices really is a barrier for yourself to cut the things out you know to be stallers. For me it's cream, for others it's pop, or caffeine. I'm not sure if you are gunna start out with a clean induction but if not that's cool. We want you to do your best and by having all this support and help along the way it sure does make it easier.

        There is a decal you can use I ahve to fix it a bit though and put NO EXCUSES on it. There are no excuses either we want you to do it and make it part of your life. There is way too much of people making excuses as a form of self sabotage if you want it bad enough there is no excuse big enough that will hold you back.

        So NO CHEATING< EXERCISE, I know when you're lungs are back to health you'll be doing that. SO if you think there is anything elese that is holding you back then Please include that in your Mission statement well the post you make of the things you want for the next 7 weeks. I know you'll do absoulutely wonderful and I am excited you are here.

            LOL, Apex, hi, sorry I haven't been around since you've been here. Tuesday and Thursday are my crazy school days. I think everyone filled you in though, this challenge is really special. It's about being accountable to the people here of course but mostly it's about being accountable to yourself. It's a set of standards that you hold yourself to. All that we ask is that your out there WORKING IT, work as hard and as diligently as you can. Only YOU know the limits to the amount you can do. I am so glad you are here, this is a great group of girls and we are all here for each other to hold each other up when we're having a rough time, laugh with each other, and give each other the occasional kick in the butt if one should need it. LOL, I should know, I just got one not too long ago.

            So a big welcome to our newest recruit to the ICES family.

            As for me I had class today but came home right after instead of going to work so I am home early. I have to work tomorrow but it's alright, my Friday co-workers are pretty fun. I've done pretty good with food today, I had eggs this morning, chicken for lunch, and a cheese stick just now for snack. I know I'm missing my veges but I will definatly make up for this tonite with my usual cauliflower mashed potato thing (OMG, I wish I could eat that all day everyday) I go through like 5 bags a week!

            I think this weekend I'm going to make biker goddess' pizza recipe, I'm craving something really yummy and I have all the stuff in the fridge.

            I forgot to take my vitamins this mornign and now it's too late. If I take them now I"ll be too wired to sleep tonite so I guess i'll just have to skip the day. I'm planning on doing Ramp it UP later on this evening. How is everyone else doing?

            Speedy, Slimin? How are you guys?

              There's no EXCUSE!!!!!!! None at all!!! for the way I have been acting lately. I'm not going to even begin to tell you guys whats been going on. I'm too PO'd and upset about how things have been. Not so much my eating\exercising and all that. But other things that I always rant about. But its taking its toll on my eating SOME WHAT. I've been very good but slightly bad. (ROFL...what the hel| does that mean krystle?)

              No excuse, and I know that. I think that's why I've been pushing through this so hard. I have 5 more minutes here and then I'm done until Tuesday......4 DAY VACATION!!! (much needed & deserved)

              anyway--thats my post. so you guys can get the gist of why i'm kinda mia, im just trying to get through without hurting someone, ROFLMAO. I wish i could put into words whats been going on. BUt you guys can imagine.........

                NAHH you won't be graded on it silly we just want it here so that you are accountable to you this is your PROMISE to yourself so to speak and when you break that it feel like CRAP I have done it before NO MORE I won't go there that's why I'm such a pusher I can't afford to lose now I have come too far.

                I did great today WOOOHOO I ROCK. I ran outside it was a beautiful day so hubby is home my oppoirtunity to really push myself and I did it went great I did some bangin hills and felt great 7 miles for today running total for the week thus far is 36 miles YAY it took me a little longer then on the treadmill because I had to wait for a train and I had the wind blowing at me 50 Km an hour so a little slower but all in all I did fab and I am very proud of myself for getting out there and doing it. Oh, did I tell you my littlest is sick too I was saying oh, maybe I should stay with him and my hubby kicked me out the door so glad he did cause I would have had this horrendous guilt going on if I didn't go.

                SO how is everyone elese doing glad to see everyone here.

                Krystal I can only imagine but, just thing only a few more day you sure you don't wanna do the liquid exlax man I would if it was me and I would have no regrets at all. Maybe, never know it might feel good. Try not to stress try to take some deep breths and maybe do some imagination games where you are strangling one of the ladies or doing some wild Karate movces on them HE HE. I can think of a lot more stuff but, I won't say on here Get my drift. ROFL.

                  Here I am! Procrastinated on my exercise yesterday so I ended up taking a 1.5 mi walk late. I actually ran 500ft of that. Today, I did Start it Up but my muscles are tired from all this exercise, so I sputtered through it - but I did it!

                      That's great Slimin! Even though you were tired you went in and still pushed through I am so proud of you.

                      I am taking a rest day today. No excuses I can just feel that my body needs a day off, so there ya go.

                      Here's my daily speel:

                      B: 3 eggs with hot sauce
                      L: 1.5 cup chicken breast sliced and sauteed with paprika, tony's, salt, and pepper
                      D: tacos! except instead of tortillas i had romain lettuce. I totally loaded these suckers down, ground beef, sour cream, cheese, cilantro, onion, hot sauce, gauc. the works, it was so delicious
                      S: i had a cheese stick between lunch and dinner

                      1497 calories for the day
                      25 carbs
                      58%/36%/5%
                      Excercise: rest day
                      Supplements: nope
                      Water: still working on it
                      green tea: that's another big no.

                      Ok, well that's it for me. Not a perfect day but still I feel good, at least I got to eat something different and yummy for dinner. I have left overs for tomorrow too so I'll get to eat that at work. Ugh, I have to work tomorrow, no fun! but i did get monday off so I guess theres the trade off. Hope everyone has a nice evening.

                        Ah!!!! There are bagels and donuts in the coffee room! OMG, the donuts don't tempt me at all well they kind of do but the bagels. I love bagels with cream cheese. Oh no, I will be strong, I will persaveer. I will not give in to temptations. One way for me not to feel deprived is by treating myself with something else. I'm going to the starbucks on campus for a decaf with steamed cream. Maybe I'll get a protein bar.

                            I forgot about the challenge and had a cheat today! A slice of almond & cream "japanaise" cake!

                            (I'm sorry!!!! )

                            I've been really really good since last Wednesday when I had dimsum (lots of white refined carbs) and I've even seen the pounds coming off. I betchya I'll put on over the weekend - that should teach me!

                            Otherwise I've been good, I promise!!!! So can I still stay?

I know you'll do great that's what this challenge is for to keep you accountable and you came in with your tail between your legs and told the truth that is a good thing when you are starting to be truthful to you.                                 Following your example being completely cheat-free and no SF products (ok, except for <0.5gram splenda in the occasional choc blob) has really really brought amazing results this week Sarah. I couldn't believe my eyes when in 2 weeks I dropped 5 pounds, then in a week, another 2.5lbs, and the last couple of days, maybe another pound - IT REALLY DOES WORK.
