      December 12th:
      Weight: Avoided the scale today.
Diet: This sounds bad but I haven't really eaten yet today, just nibbled on things since the fridge was empty. Not anymore though. I will probably have some veggies for dinner. Forgot to buy meat for today, everyone else is having pizza.
Water: Haven't kept track today. Been running around and in the car most of today...or asleep. I will keep drinking to get it in before bed.
Supplements: I haven't really eaten yet, but I did buy some more linsseed. I will probably have some muffins or something later. My fiber supplement is almost gone and I couldn't find it today since most of the stores where closed by the time we got there.
Exercise: I walked a few kilometers at a brisk pase this afternoon because our car tire was completely flat (freaking neighborhood children) and we had to go to the closest car part shop and buy a pump. It works really well. Becides that I walked around the shopping center while shopping. I am exhausted now. Even though I slept all day.
Planning: Nothing to plan at the momenet. I've been comparing cranberry prices to see how much it will cost us. So far they are about 3 euro a bag. Not to bad.
Taking care of me: Me and my boyfriend stayed up until 5 am giggling like freaking school girls last night so ofcourse I slept until 3ish today. I did wake up at 12-1 but wasn't ready to get up so I stayed in bed and napped. Spent the rest of today in the car with boyfriend. I am feeling less scared to drive with him, it gets better with time I guess.
Other: It's freaking cold and my brother keeps opening the window to smoke. Brrr...I am feeling much better today but still a little icky. I swear my bms are coming out sideways...(sorry TMI). I am going to cuddle in a blanket and have some warm tea as I warm back up from being outside most of my waking hours.

      WEEKEND!

Having a great week so far. I've switched vitamins and since it's Not pills, taking them daily is much easier (I have a heck of a time swallowing vitamins) Got upstairs today and spent some time on the Nordic Track.

Not much sleep last night as it warmed up a bit and all the snow was sliding off the roof in chunks, waking me up. But I'm glad for a little warmer weather. I'm in a local book club, but didn't have to drive in to town as everyone decided the roads were too icy today to risk it.

        Daily Goal:
NO Cheating !! Take Vitamins and Calcium/Magnesium every single day
        Weight:
NO gain this month. (but of course I'd love to loose)
Diet:Need to start moving through my rungs, at least OWL 3 by the end of the month
Water: in Challenge for 100oz daily
        Exercise:
Minimum every other day.... ~Complete ABS, Squats, Push-up, and Stability Ball challenges... ~ Use Cross Country Skier (nordic track) at least 3x's weekly...
Planning:Bringing an ice chest with me with snacks, even if going down the road (just in case)
Taking care of me:Not allow others to guilt me into a schedule... in spite of the holidays. Get at least 7 1/2 hours of sleep nightly.

On plan to day and wanted to share that I've lost an inch of my waist. Yaaaay! Got my workout in, pushed myself to 25 minutes on the stationary bike at a higher level. Great workout... Not much going on today, watching the kids and playing on the net most of the day. It's been raining here all day, I like it.

              Enjoy your weekend everyone

              • Re: Keeping our Cool: December Diet Challenge

So, I did OK last night at the Christmas party & this morning at the brunch. Dinner was chicken stuffed with cheese & ham...unfortunately it was lightly breaded. There was a nice legal salad, bread (skipped), wine (skipped), potatoes (skipped) carrots (gave to my hubby) & snow peas. We got a nice fruit plate for dessert - I had strawberries, blackberries, raspberries & some watermelon. Skipped the alcohol, drank coffee and diet Coke.
Then they put out a late night snack around 11:30...I wasn't REALLY hungry, but had some cheese, olives, turkey & prosciutto. Way too much for not being hungry.

Brunch this morning was absolutely fabulous. Again, no cheating per se, but ate more than I really needed. Portion control is still an issue!

One of the guys who has lost a ton of weight has gained all or most of it back, and is going for surgery Tuesday to have a pacemaker installed...it is sad and scary - I never want to be in that situation! Thank God I have you guys to help/support & inspire me. The other couple that lost a lot of weight has kept it off & were very complimentary about our losses.

All in all, it was a really nice party, I am not thrilled about some of my choices, but not really disapointed in myself either - I feel OK about it. Need to exercise today...didn't yesterday.

It is ridiculously cold here - you simply can't wear enough clothes to stay warm for more than a minute or two. Getting tired/bored of the bike...maybe I'll dust off the treadmill today. Hoping this wicked weather will pass soon!!

Hope everyone else had a good day

                    December 13th:
Weight: Weekend weigh in today, I was 158.5 so my bloating is gone. I still feel like crap though.
Diet: Not hungry so I haven't really eaten. I made some flax bread and had a egg and bacon sandwich, that is all so far.
Water: I have drank some inbetween my dreams but nothing much, my stomach feel better empty right now.
Supplements: 2 servings of flaxbread. Not sure on the fiber count, I will need to look.
Exercise: Does sleep count because that is all I want to do.
Planning: Going christmas shopping tomorrow with my mother. Fun Fun.
Taking care of me: I still feel really bad. I had major stomach cramps last night (well this morning...) but I am sure I have cleared everything out. Of course this left me really tired. My boyfriend woke me up to eat something, he said my stomach was grawling. So I ate and now I am ready for bed again.
Other: 0*C outside, now lets all pray for snow

Off to bed again. Stay healthy all.

Nice to see all of you doing so well. Julie how nice that pic in your signature is. Is that really you? You really look so much younger. And congrats with the party - good job on staying clean.

                      St. Lucia day today

Weight: I skipped my weigh in - too bloated so I'll have that next week
Sliding - Every thing I put in my mouth is a bit of a struggle these days. I think I am doing well enough to not fail the challenge though. It all depends on what the scale will say next Sunday
Exercise - I have done yoga, running and lifting. I am back to normal work out so that is good
Taking care of myself - I think I need to catch up on my shores and not let things build up- so I stress too much about them.
Cooking - Will have fish today - that is good protein.
Vitamins - I am getting them in. I hope I can keep the iron up.

Weight..weighed in finally. Down 2lbs! (that is for the past month). At this time of year, I am happy with 2lbs in a month.

Diet..doing ok, no slip ups other than possibly drinking too much coffee again. I had the best breakfast. My kids were eating blueberry muffins and they looked so good. I asked myself why I wanted it and it was the blueberries. I didn't have blueberries but I had frozen strawberries. I thawed a few of those, mushed them up a bit and sprinkled a bit of splenda on them. Made a mock danish, poured the strawberries over it and it was soooooo good!

Exercise...shoveling, cleaning snow off 2 cars. Wii fit~20 min.

Time for myself...not sure that is happening today.

Julie...I love your picture. You look wonderful! And if you don't mind me saying...younger.
