    I ran outside on Thursday it was all right But, I have Shin Splints I can't tell you how painful it is I ahve never ever injured myself and I contribute it to running on slippery surfaces outside. I won't be doing that again for a Bit. So cause of my Injury I am out of the running circut till I heal which I am really hoping doesn't take too long. I will be working on building up the strerngth of my Anterior shin muscle so this doesn't happen again.

    Today is lower body weight training since I can't do much for stepping or anything I will Probably do a lot of Squats and my Front of my leg is very sensitive so I can't do leg extensions fdor at least a few days. I am really watching my caloric intake while I am not running I don't wanna end up heavier by eating like I was.

      OK so Leg has been Very Bad so I have to stay off of it If I don't I can't walk at the end of the day So I have taken 2 sick days so far. I may do some squates that's about the only exercise that doesn't require me to move my leg too much. I am upset at this and hope it doesn't set me back too far. I ahve the Biggest fear of losing control right now I don't like not Knowing what is happening with my body and when I finally say OK, I have to rest it puts me into stress. I get worried that I will lose everything I ahve gained lose my Body lose my ability and most of all lose my drive to do it. I know this is crazy But, it's true and This I pray will heal very quickly so I can get back to it again.

        WOOHOOO Can I say I ROCK I ran No pain all great 1 hour I am soooo BAD I went 5 miles and I feel great a slight bit stiff but, absoulutely no pain YAY. I think I can say I am officially off the injured list.

              Still Injured had to take a few days off. SO I ahve been Back at it here with the weights I am glad I can do my Legs now I am Just about to where I can run.

              YAY I did my Lower Body workout it felt good to do it I am Gllad I am able to right now Cause I feel like such a Bump on a LOG.

              Workout went as follows.

              Leg Extensions 12x60,10x70,8x80,6x90,12x70 changeover Wide legged Squat 12x50
              Stiff Legged Deadlifts 12x90,10x100,8x110,6x120,12x110, changeover hamstring curls 12x30
              Seated Calf Raises 12x80,10x90,8x100,6x110,12x100 changeover standing calf raises 12x100
              Decline sit ups, 1set 25 reps no weight, 3sets 20reps 10 lbs

                I did Run today Felt really Great I didn't push it ran for 25 minutes went a total of 2.33 miles WOW I did awesome that's a pretty good Clip I also Just finished my weight training Holly Crap I am soooo sore Damn my arms are sooo Nastie and weak right now. I feel like I really Push the Boundries and did something great for me though WOOOHOOO.

                Workout went as Follows.

                Weighted Bend overs(don't know what they are called)12x20lbs, 10x40lbs, 8x50lbs, 6x60lbs, 12x50lbs changeover lay down back flies 12x15lbs
                Front raises 12x10lbs,10x15lbs,8x20lbs,6x25lbs, 12x15lbs, changeover side raises 12x15 lbs
                Incline chest Flies 12x10lbs,10x15lbs,8x20lbs,6x25lbs,12x15lbs changeover incline dumbell press 12x 15lbs
                Upright Tricep Extensions 12x50lbs,10x60lbs, 8x70lbs, 6x80lbs, 12x60lbs changeover standing tricep Press 12x60lbs (OUCH)
                Bicep Cable Curls 12x50lbs,10x60lbs,8x70lbs,6x80lbs,12x60lbs changeover hammer curls 12x15 lbs

                  I ran again today it was nice I am going slowly as to not reinjure myself I ran for 30 minutes could ahve went way longer but, I am not Pushing it and walked for 10 minutes it felt great to run completely pain free.

                          I ran 5 miles today. The first longer run since my Injurey Everything seems to be back where it was but, I ahve lost some groud which upsets me. I am sure I will be backs where I was in due time right now I just have to concentrat on my running and also my Asthma which has been Plagueing me lately. I am unsure as to why it's flaring up now but, I am sure it will be short lived so long as I look after myself. I picked up some OTC allergy meds for my chest congestion so hopefully that helps and I am back to feeling myself very soon.

                            I ran 6.2 miles on Thursday I forgot to Post it was a great run felt Good all the way it was slower then normal but, it doesn't matter. Yesterday was upper Body day I did 20 minutes of running at the end of the day Just had to try out my Tread mill. Today I will run 5 miles it'll be awesome.

                            Workout went as follows.

                            Seated Bench Press 12x40lbs,10x50lbs,8x60lbs,6x70lbs,12x50lbs (the bar is 30 LBS so high weight was 100 lbs) changeover cable crossovers 12x40
                            Tricep extensions 12x10lbs,10x15lbs,8x20lbs,6x25lbs,12x15lbs, changeover tricep kickbacks 12x15lbs
                            Lateral Pulls (Front) 12x40lbs,12x50lbs,8x60lbs,6x70lbs,12x50lbs, changeover behind lat pulls 12x50lbs
                            Bicep Straight Bar Curls 12x30lbs,10x40lbs,8x50lbs,6x55lbs,12x40lbs changeover concentrations Curls 12x40lbs

                              just checking to see if you are back in your rythum yet after the gout attack.

                              is your doc going to keep you on that med or was that just to weather this attack?

                              How is the tread on your new tradmill doing? I noticed I was slipping on my new one after breaking my old one in for all those miles. be careful espically near the edges as you get used to it.

                                This one is Nice and wide I am used to running on a 16 inche belt so this one is 20. It didn't slip at all which is awesome.

                                I was on the med to taper the attack but, I have been off of it now for 3 days with no reccurance So I think I nipped it at least I hope so.
