Maybe I am mistaken. I was hoping someone can send me the recipe. I looked on the recipe page but I could not find it. Thank you.

Keeping it simple for my first Induction dinner.

1/2 cup green beans with butter, and wild salmon sauteed in butter. Yes, I'm all over the butter thing Likely have 1 cup salad greens with 2 tbsp Caesar dressing too. Maybe a deviled egg. We'll see how hungry I am.

Atkins Induction is a no-brainer concerning what you may and may not eat because Dr. Atkins kindly gave us a foods list and a Rules of Induction. So if whey protein is on the Induction Acceptable Foods List, then it is acceptable for Induction. If it isn’t then, it is not.

Also you might want to read Sally Fallon and Mary Enig’s work. They do not advocate using protein powders or isolates because the processing degrades the proteins rendering them poor quality.

Good idea. You are right. Maybe the tertiary fold in proteins are linked to bio-availability, I don't know, it's not my feild, but they must be lost in processing. I'm just a bit freaked out because I lost about 1/8-1/4" off my biceps. Vanity, thy name is Norman. I dropped about another 4 lb so I'm approaching what you call onederland. I look "flat". It probably has to do with inter-muscular fat loss, as well as glycogen depletion.

I'm just feeling kind of weird because I haven't seen myself this small in many years. I look at myself in boxers and a tee and I see a freakin' teenager staring back at me. I'm thin-boned. It's funny how your loved ones tell you "Your're too skinny" or "how much more do you want to lose" etc.

There is one draw back to Atkins, the money I must spend on new clothes. I got a closet full of 501's but they are 32-33" x 32"'s and I'm not there yet. I'm in that awful transition state. Nothing fits well, and I don't want to spend a fortune on clothes to use them only for a month or so.
I guess I've lost a lot of visceral fat and now the subcutaneous is dropping rapidly.

Anyway, for induction I had ribeye, medium rare and salad. Nothing fancy. I think I'm going to dust of my DANDR and give the OWL's a decent try.

I made a salad tonight with farmer's market finds including lettuces, tomatos, cukes and peppers. Add to that some fresh crabmeat with a little mayo and celery and an avocado. It was 92 degrees and very humid here (90%) at dinner so I was very happy not to have to spend time in the kitchen.

Tonight I'm having chicken salad: leftover cooked chicken tossed with a lemon-tarragon vinaigrette, some onion, green beans, spinach, tomatoes, etc.
