I threw a whole bag of sugar snap peas away after eating one. It never clicked for me, I HATE sweet peas, and just never put 2 & 2 together that they were the same damn thing except with the pods. LOL. GROSS! to me, a veggie shouldn't be sweet.....and they are sweet and I don't like them!!!!!

Yeah, Jen, they are definitely sweet. But that's one of the things that I like about them.

About them being the same as sweet peas... what are sweet peas? Do you mean those little green mushy balls? I have always hated those, but I love these.

Since you don't like sweet veggies, does that mean you never eat raw red or yellow bell peppers? My husband doesn't like them because they are sweet. But these peppers and sugar snap peas are my "candy", I guess, in this WOE. They satisfy my desire for the occasional sweet while fulfilling my veggie and fiber requirements. I eat all of these almost every day.

Nope, never eat red or yellow bell peppers, I do mix them with the green and some yellow onion when I make pork stir fry though and that's yummy!

                        Lunch:

1 chicken breast cut in strips and fried in 1 tsp Montreal Steak Spice Marinade and 1 tbsp sour cream. 2 slices of tomatoe sprinkled with very little cheddar cheese and melted.

MUP...1 cup pumpkin, 1 oz finely shredded unsweetened coconut, 1 tsp. almond meal, 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice, 1 oz cream cheese, 2 pkts splenda.

                        Lord I love MUP!

Dinner...hmmm...to be determined. I have some of the chicken mixture left over so I may have that with some kind of veggies. I'll let ya know....I know you all will be on the edges of your seat waiting for the news...

Ok so I wasn't really all that hungry cuz I ate a late lunch. So for dinner I had the rest of the chicken I cooked for lunch...it was about 3/4 of a cup in the same sauce...obviously...lol. Also I had another 2 oz of sugar snap peas and 1/2 a green bell pepper, cup of decaf black.

*what possessed me to eat cashews today? I already know that I like them too much. And I already know that I shouldn't eat any kind of salted nuts because I like them so much. So the fact that I ate salted cashews was brave/stupid. The almonds that I eat are unsalted, natural ones. I wanted something to go with my sugar snap peas and I usually do an ounce of cheddar cheese, but I was really hungry so I grabbed the cashews. I was able to stop at 1/2 ounce, and it did stop my hunger... but it was a miracle that I was able to stop when I did. I won't be doing that again.
