Hey congrats to all who have lost and hang in there for all who haven't.

I'm up 2lbs but I'm NOT counting it as I'm pretty sure it's bodypump water retention.

Michelle - I hope you feel better soon. Sounds painful.

tmn - I am really burnt too, I didn't think whether I'd need more water so thanks for the suggestion Julie.

Thanks Paula! I was a little disappointed with only 1.5 pounds, but I know inches count too. Actually, I was at the gas station this morning and saw my little sister (I had not seen her in two weeks) and she said I looked like I had lost weight in my tummy. She had no idea I was on a "diet" either!

                Cute dress, Baarb!

I don't mind the sunburn, really. It feels good in a way... errr, well, ANYwho! It sure beats the "Obviously, THAT hasn't seen sun in a while!" white skin. ack! Only problem is avoiding the sun because that gets too hot. Sun is in and out from behind the clouds so I get out there during shady moments.

Gotta tell ya, some of these foods are too friggin' good! Just had a big ol' yummy taco in the cheese shell! Dang, better than a corn shell any day!

Deb--don't let the pounds affect you. It's the INCHES that really count. I was telling someone today that I am wearing the same size clothing at 180 pounds that I wore at 150. Why? Obviously not pounds, baby, IT'S THE INCHES! I had a month where I didn't lose a single pound, but lost 13" off my body (3 of those inches were off my waist) and I went down a whole clothing size. So CELEBRATE THE INCHES!!!

Terry--I know what you mean! I had to stop making those cheese shells because they were TOOOOOOOO good! I was in severe danger of going over my cheese allotment...

                      Hey Jules,

On a personal note, the inches are great. The scale is what the OB/GYN cares about so that I can have a baby and 199 is his magic number and my husband's "safety number" so that is why I need to numbers to go down. I know they will. I am dedicated and I will get there.

Oh Deb, you WILL get there. In the meantime, don't sweat the pounds. Usually I'll drop a bunch of inches, and then I'll drop a bunch of pounds. Inches, then pounds, then inches, then pounds. My body likes to keep me guessing.

I have fertility issues, too. Have been seeing and reproductive endocrinologist since last August. I have been taking time off treatment since late March, though, to try to get into my healty weight range before we go in for IVF.

                                hi julie!!!!

well, i came across this challenge when i was reading the adbb in rome. i could not post. i wrote in my journal just now and that and this is all i have time to do now but.....i just want to know if it is too late for my to jump into the challenge. i am not EXACTLY sure what's up as i still have lots of reading to catch up on. sounds like it is a personal challenge for each member. if that is so.....i thought i would challenge myself...change my goal weight. i'd like to get to 145 by labor day. that is 5 more pounds. pretty doable. we'll see. i did not weigh after getting home from my trip. my legs are HUGE from sitting on a plane for 15 hours! i will give myself a few days and weigh and go from there. i missed you guys!
