    FG, I agree YBB is not as "good" of a workout. But it sure is fun!! I love the Hip Hop Abs!

    COOLED IT DOWN today. Still nursing this sore back. Chiro asked me if I turned my ankle! Heck if I know! I could have! I start out the day fine, but by the end of the day it's killer to just walk around the block! Last night was better. I'm still gonna ease back into this. I MISS my workouts!!!

      I'll post my stats for the challenge at the end of my recovery week. I don't think that weight or measurements have really changed much this round, but everything looks tighter, and I FEEL great.

              I've been having pain in my right knee since my last workout so I've cooled off for a little -- waiting until it goes a whole day without the pain.

              Anyone else with knee pain? Any advice?

                  KKat, I've found that Cool it Off makes my knees feel much better when they're sore, especially the knee stabilizing exercises on the floor. Also, when you're doing the workouts, make sure that you have the right knee/foot/leg position, so you're not straining the ligaments. I also find it helpful to skip the half jacks and jogging sometimes.

                  The other thing I've noticed is that since I started Si6, it strains my knees more to cross my legs while sitting, maybe cause the thigh muscle is bigger? So I'm trying not to cross my legs anymore.

                    Oh yeah. Forget the 1/2 jacks. I do a "modified version" lifting the arms and extending out one leg at a time for those. I'm just too old for that jumping!! And besides, I have big breasts!!! Notice nobody has breasts on these workouts???!! ;-)

                          Thanks! You were right on my heels for most of the 6 weeks!

                          This 6 weeks was way easier to do than the previous challenge. I guess I'm getting into the exercise habit. I'm really looking forward to trying something new for awhile, though. After 12 weeks straight of Debbie, I'm ready for a change!

                            Well I got a mile walk in with the dog. That's more than I have been able to do for about a week! And I am not feeling crippled! Woohoo! We'll see how the back feels tomorrow. I really want to get this overwith!!

                                Hey BoxerMom, where've you been hiding? Now no more excuses, just get back into the swing of things, and get back into it slowly, take a nice walk, go for a swim, walk up and down the stairs, whatever it takes! You can do it!
                                I've been really sick with a bad cold and cough the last couple of days, and am not able to do much other than walking. I hope this clears up soon, I'm getting pretty sore now from all the hacking away. Barb, you're moving way ahead of me now!!!!
