Great point about the cheating aspect. Once you discover all of the food rungs you can pretty much eat anything so the urge to cheat isn't so great. Eventually it does become lifestyle.
For what it's worth, I still don't eat starchy veggies or grains. I will have a yam on occasion and I did eat peas recently.

) but it is SO important do be patient and introduce those foods in the correct order. Grains are the last rung for a reason--most often they cause cravings, many people have a sensitivity to wheat/other grains, and they are very high carb, compared to other foods. I suggest giving up the tortillas, and sticking with Rung 1. Patience is the key with this WOL.
