CCLL is based on metabolic resistance.

According to your ticker, you want to lose 32 pounds total. If you lost about 3 pounds on induction, you have high resistance; if you lost about 6 pounds you have an average resistance; if you lost about 9 pounds you have a low resistance. (page15

OK, now flipping to page 173 you see the metabolic resistance/CCLL chart. If you have a high resistance, you will likely eat less than 15 carbs per day. If you have an average resistance, you will likely be able to eat 15-40g per day. If you have a low resistance, you'll likely be able to eat 40-60g per day, and if you're a regular exerciser (vigorous exercise 5x/week for 45 min/session) you'll probably be able to eat 60-90g and still lose.

I keep trying to catch up and I'm so lost. I've got to go back a few pages to catch up. But, today was my official one week weigh-in and I was down 2.5 pounds to 157. Geez I hope I get back to 154 pretty soon! That's still really my starting point in my eyes.

3 pounds to get back to 154

The good news is that my family doctor is all about low-carb...now he never said Atkins, but low-carb because he thinks if you have to take diabetes meds like me, then low-carb is how you need to live.

The super good news is that I got some lab work done and just from two weeks, the doctor is letting me drop one of my glucophage tabs a day so down from 1,500 to 1,000...not too shabby!

Deb, Sounds like a good doctor! I'm glad he's supportive of the low-carb lifestyle! It's also great that you've been able to decrease your medication. Great work

Hi everyone! Back from Lake Havisu! I missed you! Took me a while to catch up on reading this thread! Great conversations and success is definately right HERE!
It was HOT!!!! like 115 degrees...layed on the boat reading Atkins and dropping into the water like every 10 minutes. My skinny husband layed on his raft, while I did my laps around the boat... lol! At dinner I noticed he threw his potatoes away... I think he has a natural aversion to carbs! I did really well, until we walked about a half mile to a movie and dinner... it was happy hour and our anniversary so we both had a beer.... and it was great! but immediately got back on the wagon... SORRY! but that was it as far as badness... thought I did very well actually: had fabulous snacks on the boat: tuna salad, olives, celery, watermelon, water, one diet soda...lol! and at restaurants ate totally atkins, but it totally annoys me that you can't order an omlet al la carte.... why do they have to charge for the potatoes and toast that I'm not eating and request them not to even bring it but they bring it anyways!
This morning we ate at a restaurant that charges a 2 dollar plate splitting fee so I just ordered one egg, and then had a few bites of my husbands egg dish... and decaf... felt like I dodged a bullet! lol!
Anyways, haven't weighed... but my daughter says my legs look skinnier... she walked with me tonight, and we talked alot! she did my abs with me and taught me a new way of doing them too! Also did push ups with me... now I'm up to 45 a night! totally discusted with my arms! so am going to keep making myself do more.
anyways... you guys are the best! so proad of you all and happy to be a part of all of this... sorry too I had a beer on my 21 wedding anniversay, but ... we had a lot more fun after that! lol!
