I am soooo sorry for not checking in, boy have I missed you guys! It has been the most stressful time of my life in a LONG time, due to filing and getting a Restraining Order served on my roommate. I have had absolutely NO time for myself, other than going to work, making sure I'm sticking to Atkins (DID U HEAR THAT!!!
), and excersizing.... So I apologize sincerely!
But I'm here. So here's the scoop. Tuesday night was my last session with my personal trainer, as she's getting married/going to Europe until next month. So we did my weight and measurements. I've definitely lost inches everywhere, which is wonderful, but FINALLY the weight is starting to come off.
I stepped on that scale Tuesday night and it said 164 lbs! BUT, you have to minus 2lbs for clothing and shoes. So that puts me at 162lbs!!!!!!!!!!!
2 more lbs until I reach my first mini goal of being under 160! To be able to type 1.5... something, OH GEEZ, I was jumping up and down let me tell you! I still feel like my pants are fitting the same however I know that slowly... (very slowly for me, grr! LOL) but surely it's coming off and I'm doing the right thing. 162!! Eeek!
My goal is to be 159 by Sept. 5th. That's 9 days away. I think it's VERY possible.
I haven't been able to do my ketostix, which I'm addicted to and miss SO much, because they've been stuck at the house with the vile roomie.
Anyways, I do have a problem now...
Feeling fat today (I hate days where I just feel fat, even if my body hasn't gained/lost weight) Really contemplating having an off day from my strict diet, just because my mom's friend who is doing Atkins lost 18lbs first month like I've said (she has a lot more to lose than me) and was at a plateau for a few weeks. Then she accidently took a sip of coca cola that her husband poored in a glass which was her ice tea before, and now she's lost 4 more lbs. Wondering if going off the diet for a day would make my metabolism get a nice kick???
What do you guys think? That or just add more veggies (but adding more, I need to add OTHER veggies or something then, blegh!)

Props to vex and bill and Elsie and everyone else for stickin' to it! And Vex, I'm from Wisconsin and can totally relate to being all sad about winter but SO excited for Halloween. Made my desktop bg at work yesterday a Halloween image. I would love to be a victoria secret sexy angel if I am skinny enough (doubt it LOl and i'd be wearing a babydoll so it's like a cutesy little dress, not a total tramp-ho outfit, with angel wings of course!) but yes I just LOVE the feeling of halloween...the colors... the spookiness...the decor!!!

I think the little monster within, the one who whisper to our ears :"have that cake, pleaseeeee" was having a party today! With music, beer and confetti!
